Have to admit, I’m not sure what their shipping’s like? I’m potentially interested in Woz book, but...

I've calculated the price of ordering from the U.S. before and the shipping prices were EXPENSIVE! I had to give up ordering from TFsource... |
Tokullectibles shipping to the UK as well is, uh. Well. Kinda had to give up on them as an option...

Wait, he actually comes with the bike handle? Makes me really wish that Dragon and Pegasus had come with a pole and a gun.

Anyways, obligatory call for Ichi-Gata to be released. I'm waiting. |

I always don't understand, what "True Bone Carving" means?
|

I believe it’s also meant to represent their evolution as a figure company. The earliest SHFs were done by recreating a skeleton in an attempt to get an accurate look — which didn’t turn out so well and is why SHFs had a spindly, proportionately off appearance for quite a while. As such, “true” bone carving is representing them getting it right; imagining these figures and sculpts as people inside suits; as of course all Tokusatsu designs are. Basically, it took em a bit, but they finally got the skeleton thing down!
|
Yep, proportions has always been a recurring issue in the SH Figuarts line for Kamen Rider. This isn't just an issue among early Figuarts. Even modern, non-SS Figuarts don't exactly have perfect proportions and sometimes they go completely off the book.
|
The Zi-O and Zero One Figuarts, while good figures, definitely feel a bit off in terms of proportions IMO.
Ex-aid and Build are peak, non-SS, Figuarts. |
Kamen Rider Ghost Figuarts definitely suffered proportion-wise due to their hoodies. Not only do they limit articulation, but the limited articulation on the waist comes at the expense of the shape of the hoodies in order to accommodate that limited amount of inner space. The hoodies are bulky! It feels more like they're wearing cardboard rather than cloth.

A lot of these figures have the compound eyes effect, which is cool, but not always show accurate and can ruin the look sometimes. Ghost is probably the biggest offender. The compound eyes didn't do Ex-Aid Level 2 any favors, either. |

[Guest: Yuichi Nakamura] I'm coming to the goods! You can't miss any of the products ...! ?? [Kamen Rider Den-O] Prevan Lab # 85 |
Upon seeing that BBTS put the CSM Core/Cell Medals up for pre-order, I went and checked Bluefin's' website to see if they'd done the same.
They haven't, but I found out that what they HAVE done is stealth release/put up for pre-order most of the recent acryllic stands, if anyone in the US wants those. |

Anybody has TaJaDor? He looks so sexy, it's seducing me to get him even though it'll ruin my primary form collection.
|
Tajador is an INCREDIBLY sexy figure. Go get it and be closer to it up close...
|
I'm still waiting on my payment request for TaJaDor...
I found a great deal on an SS Kabuto and Agito and am ecstatic. ...Also a Necrom, but that's less important. |

On the event that Espada is P-Bandai (which he will), what are the chances the cloak he has on his arm is cloth? And how easy would it be to replace it if it weren't? I mean, Woz Ginga and Prime Rogue had cloth capes but Cross-Z Build, BH Evolt, and Cross-Evol don't have it. |

If Saber himself has soft goods then so will Espada, if they go with plastic on Saber then I wouldn't expect anything else for future releases from this show. Just because I feel like the suits from Saber are so similar in style that they would want to keep that decision uniform. So let's see what Saber looks like, and after that a good deal of figures should be revealed in early November anyways, then we know for sure. |
There were no other capes in Zi-O to compare Woz Ginga too, and Prime Rogue isn’t even announced for release yet so for all we know he could differ from the display model. If he does have a cloth cape though, it’s worth noting that Prime Rogue is the only Build suit that has an actual cape — everything else is a skirt.
I also wouldn’t get your hopes up too much, as while these examples are cloth; they also don’t have wires like the Seihous of Wizard and Eternal — in other words, they’re just thin pieces of cloth with no articulation which arguably is a strike against the figure. At the very least though, those figures have their capes on their back and in a static pose, the cloth cape simply hanging there works well enough (though not so much for stylish or action poses). In Espada’s case however, as his cape seems to be on his shoulder and draped over his arm? You do NOT want him to have a cloth cape; it would look awful. |

I guess I meant a cape in the way how SS Eternal and Beast's was handled. Like this glossy look to 'em. https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1px5OR...amer-Level.jpg I was just never a fan of how Snipe's shoulder cape looked. It looked tacky. But hey, we'll see. |

My condition for buying any upcoming figuarts.
Buster better come with that big ol' sword of his. |
Everyone's talking about getting new Figuarts and here I am trying to save up money to buy the SHF Ex-Aid three pack that I was never able to get when it first released.

I know this is an SH Figuarts thread and Ultra Act is dead but they are technically Figuarts anyway, so I was playing with my old Gridman Ultra Act, and he's still solid. Wonder if they'll make a Figuarts of him someday (knowing Tamashii it will be P-Bandai).

I would love a Figuarts Gridman - neither the GSC nor the Evolution Toy offerings appeal to me.
|
Maybe during an anniversary year or if they give us a new SSSS Gridman show perhaps?
