like, I'm sure Zordon knew they could beat titanus if they worked together, but straight telling them would have just made them be forced to work together instead of actually working together out of their own volition.

Please... no... I don't hate JDF, but I can't imagine that actually working out. Especially with how obscure the Lone Stranger is.

I'd rather see them cast Yoshi in the role, and either explain him away as a descendant of Koda's or actually have him be Koda and have him somehow become a cowboy after the events of Dino Charge/Supercharge.

I'm inclined to agree. They used the "King Brachion attacks" from Zyuranger in much the same way, but Titanus was deemed a mere test. If one follows the "Zord Programming" route, Titanus was likely "instructed" to avoid directly fatal attacks.

I actually think this is the best way to go about Star Ninger. Whatever angle they take for the rangers, have a new guy from Texas show up in boots, a big cowboy hat, and his pappy's sherif badge and be the gold ranger. It is too easy. Could also lend itself to some funny one-liners that most of the audience will enjoy (even if they don't understand them).

And no more Tommy. There are no more stories that need to be told about him. If you want to link it to a past season, then link it to Ninja Storm in some way.
