Ok I am really really liking how the suit looks even before the effects, I still can't fully unsee some of the Lord Zed similarities but still really liking it. Seeing a person in the suit too makes me visualize how it might not be as a restrictive costume as it first looked in the reveal too.

Also if the green suit actors are the putties I think that's a good thing overall as I think it will allow a little more freedom and creativity in making some some what threatening cannon fodder bad guys for the movie.

Still not a hundred percent sold on the suit, but seeing clearer images helps. Still gotta wonder of the diamond is actually going to be glowing, or if that was just for the promo.

EDIT - The Wrap (via @iikriill65) also mentions the media is getting kits and pictures that could be revealed soon.

The diamond has the CGI motion points on it, so my guess is that it'll be rendered in post, along with a handful of other glowy things on the suit.

That said, it's nice that the suit is mostly real. Hooray for MOSTLY practical effects!

Well, I think SDCC will be the big Zord reveal. But I could be wrong. However, in the meantime, they could always reveal Zordon to keep the excitement up.
