I didn't. OOO was the gateway Rider show for a lot of people and is probably the most popular Rider in the general tokunation community. That said, I'm not going to be all "baww, OOO fans only vote for their favorite!!!1!" because, honestly, OOO could totally take Kuuga. It'd be a hell of a fight, but OOO is a beast with options coming out the wazoo. Kuuga could pull it off, but honestly it's going to be a real battle for him and OOO has way more roads to victory (hell, I even listed a big one in my last post).

My thinking is that maybe this poll and Kuuga making the top four will get some people to check out his show now. If we in the Kuuga brigade can accomplish that, then I'll claim victory. :thumb:

To be honest, I would've loved this to be the final battle. But my damn number generator hated me when I was randomizing which rider goes where. :mad:. Plus, it would've made it more epic, a Rider whose kick was stated by the writers to be able to destroy the planet vs the rider who could stop time and form a black hole. Either way, the world is screwed :lol

And trust me, this battle even makes me want to revisit Kuuga (only saw a couple of episodes and the final)

For me, this is the final. Everything after this - even the one with Den-O - is unavoidably an anti-climax.

On another note, something occurred to me today. In all these similarity match-ups you missed one of the most obvious pairings of similar Riders: Dragon Knight vs. Masked Rider. :p

I really did not expect OOO to be landsliding this. I mean I really thought it would be closer. I voted for OOO personally but I can also see why alot of people would have voted Kuuga. Surprised more haven't to be honest.

Shouldn't the mercy rule apply by now? I mean, unless Kuuga fans band together at the very last second and just spam the button, the likelihood is is that Kuuga has been Rider Kicked to defeat.

Perhaps so. But these threads often devolve into popularity contests. Usually any battle that involves Kuuga, Decade, OOO, or W. Those 4 are guaranteed to skew results almost every time. In this instance it probably has a decent amount to do with OOO availability and popularity. However it can also be said that the OOO beats Kuuga argument has solid foundations. But Kuuga beating OOO should really have just as many, it's just surprising that there aren't that many Kuuga votes. It really should be closer than this.

That's exactly what I'm saying. I'm not saying who should win, but it's an even match and the votes don't reflect that at all. Agito vs Kabuto was evenly matched and the votes reflected that very much. I consider it the best match we've had in this final bracket. Here it's just completely bias. It's like this tournament is bipolar.

when it comes to voting these things i a go by the most comments back up one character or i pick the one i seen most of in the show so for this i went with OOO

Honestly, this is about what I was expecting. OOO is highly popular, he's incredibly powerful, and a lot of people who are relatively new to the fandom have a hard time going back and watching Kuuga (older show, dodgy CGI, not available at TV-Nihon, etc.). Like I said, though, if more people check it out now that he's done so well here I'm happy.

Den-O:

• Has 9 different forms, each with their own skills
• Wields the Den-Gasher, a weapon with multiple weapon configurations
• Can travel through time with the DenLiner, which has multiple powers in each train car.
• Sword Form is Kamen Rider Den-O's first (and most common) form, used when Ryotaro is possessed by Momotaros. In Sword Form, he uses the DenGasher as a standard sword-style weapon. Sword Form is the most balanced of all his forms, possibly because of Momotaros' prominence among the other Imagin. Momotaros himself once assumed Sword Form during the events of "Final Countdown" to battle Kamen Rider Yuuki. Every so often, Momotaros will develop a new Finishing Attack that he uses to finish off Imagin, and has developed Parts 1, 2, 2' (2-dash), 3, 5, Special Version (used in "I'm Born!"), and the Imagin-assisted Final Version, although parts 2, 3, and 5 are essentially identical. Special Version is nearly identical to 2, 3, and 5, but uses a double Full Charge and only strikes the enemy on the rebound, while Final Version is an extended attack that uses the energy of the other Taros, Sieg, and Zeronos. Sword Form also has a triple roundhouse Rider Kick that Momotaros refers to as his "Super Finishing Attack."
• Rod Form is Kamen Rider Den-O's second form, used when Ryotaro is possessed by Urataros. In Rod Form, the DenGasher is transformed into a rod-style weapon. Rod Form gains the ability to move and breathe underwater, increased protection, and increased kicking power. But as a drawback, he loses physical strength and jumping height. Urataros himself assumed this form when he borrowed Ryotaro's Belt to fight off the Mole Imagin he tricked, and again during "Final Countdown" to fight the army of revived Imagin. This form is one of the least used of Den-O's forms, as Urataros rarely fights. However, whenever a fight occurs in the proximity of water, or if the other Imagin are unable to fight, Urataros will assist with his fishing skills. Rod Form is also one of two forms that uses a Rider Kick as part of its standard finisher, pinning the enemy with the rod as a harpoon before executing a flying side kick.
• Axe Form is Kamen Rider Den-O's third form, used when Ryotaro is possessed by Kintaros. In Axe Form, the DenGasher is transformed into an axe for short, close ranged attacks. Axe Form gains increased strength and defense, but as a result suffers with less speed and kicking power. This form is the physically strongest of the Den-O forms, due to Kintaros's own brute strength. Kintaros himself assumes this form by using the Den-O Belt to help Ryotaro fend off an army of Imagin in the past, and again during "Final Countdown" to fight off the army of revived Imagin. Kintaros tends to fight as Ax Form whenever he senses crying or he hears someone near Ryotaro say anything resembling the Japanese word for "cry.”
• Gun Form is Kamen Rider Den-O's fourth form, used when Ryotaro is possessed by Ryutaros. In Gun Form, the DenGasher is transformed into a gun for short and long range attacks. Gun Form displays an increase in speed, power, and defense, easily making it the most superior of the four basic forms. Ryutaros tends to fight as Gun Form at his whim, as he is able to overpower the other three Tarōs and in some cases Ryotaro. However, he also tends to cause more damage than the other forms because of his low precision and the high power of his ammunition. Ryutaros himself once assumed Gun Form during the events of "Final Countdown" in order to battle the revived army of Imagin. Ryutaros incorporates break-dancing moves into his fighting style in Gun Form, making his movements somewhat unpredictable.
• Wing Form is Den-O's fifth form, used when Ryotaro is possessed by Sieg. Wing Form is used again during the trip to the Edo period to fight the Cobra Imagin. Sieg himself once assumed Wing Form during the events of "Final Countdown" to assist in fighting Shiro's army of revived Imagin. Den-O Wing Form uses the DenGasher as two separate weapons, a boomerang (Sword and Grip) and a handaxe (Ax and Gun). Although it resembles Sword Form, the Aura Skin becomes gold, different shoulders are used, and the DenKamen's visor is blue swan-like wings. In order to access Wing Form, the golden Wing Buckle must be placed over the Terminal Buckle. This form gives Den-O agility far greater than Gun Form
• Liner Form is Den-O's final form in the series, gained when the Tarōs created the DenKamen Sword for Ryotaro to use when they could no longer possess him in the past. In order to transform into Liner Form, the Rider Pass must be slid into a slot in the back of the DenKamen Sword's blade. This form, solely controlled by Ryotaro with the Imagin using the DenKamen Sword as a means of communication, is themed around DenLiner Gouka and KingLiner in transformation and attack. Ryotaro can also utilize each of his Imagin's respective fighting style, whenever their DenKamen is selected on the DenKamen Sword (e.g. Kintaros' strength and defense in KinAx Mode, and Ryutaros' breakdancing techniques in RyuGun Mode). It soon becomes the only form Ryotaro is able to use while fighting in the past. By the time the events of Saraba Kamen Rider Den-O: Final Countdown take place, Liner Form is Ryotaro's default form, accessed through the Rider Pass, the K-Taros, and the Den-O Belt. As compared to before, he could only access Plat Form initially, a sign of his much stronger will.
• Most Powerful Form: Climax (TV), Super Climax (Movies)
• Climax Form is Den-O's sixth form. It is accessed when all of the Tarōs except Momotaros fade away and Ryotaro's desire not to lose them creates the K-Taros which restores the three Imagins' bond to Ryotaro. After entering the code 3-6-9-# and attaching it to the Den-O Belt, Den-O becomes Climax Form. Climax Form is basically a stronger version of Sword Form that incorporates the DenKamen of the other three Den-O forms onto various parts of the armor (Rod Form's DenKamen is on the right shoulder with Urataros controlling the right arm, Ax Form's DenKamen on the left shoulder with Kintaros controlling the left arm, and Gun Form's DenKamen on the chest with Ryutaros controlling the legs). But due to the nature of Climax Form, the Tarōs need to work as one to fight, and their strengths are incorporated into Climax Form. The three DenKamen can also travel along tracks on Climax Form's body to align with the leg or arm to enter Kick Mode or Punch Mode with the three Tarōs controlling that one limb while leaving Momotaros to control the rest of the body to perform "Charge and Up" attacks. Usually Momotaros is the one controlling the whole body, but the other Taros are free to take over control of their respective limb parts anytime
• Super Climax Form is Den-O's eighth, strongest, and true final form. It is identical to the original Climax Form, except with the addition of Sieg's power and Wing Form's DenKamen attaching to back, giving him wings. It is also physically stronger than Climax Form and has the ability to use the wings to fly up and execute a stronger version of Climax Form's Rider Kick. Although the wings are big and powerful to enable actual flight, it was only used to execute the said Rider Kick.

Kabuto:

• When first transforming, Zecter can defend Kabuto, Masked form armor can be ejected and cause damage
• Can Clock Up- allowing him to move faster than the eye can see
• The Kabuto Kunai Gun is Kabuto's personal sidearm that has three modes to use the weapon in various forms- Gun Mode, the default mode, fires high-intensity ion beam blasts and is equipped with tri-laser targeting called DAT Sight. Its finishing attack is an ionic energy blast called the Avalanche Shoot. Ax Mode becomes active when the gun barrel is held, and is wielded by using the bladed butt of the weapon like a tomahawk. Its finishing attack is the Avalanche Break. Kunai Mode activates when the gun barrel is detached, unsheathing a short-dagger weapon good for its swift and easy handling; this is favored most when Kabuto switches to Rider Form. This mode's finishing attack is the Avalanche Slash.
• Kabuto is the only Rider in Kabuto that can achieve Hyper Form, an even stronger version of Rider Form. Accessed through the Hyper Zecter, a futuristic Zecter made by ZECT and predestined to be used by Tendou, it initiates the Hyper Cast Off command, unleashing its full power. It also has access to Hyper Clock Up, a version of Clock Up, able to even time travel due to its faster-than-light speed properties. He is also equipped with a jetpack-like device on his back, allowing Kabuto flight capabilities, though usually it's only used to gain height for the Hyper Kick.
• The Perfect Zecter is Hyper Kabuto's signature weapon. This sword-like Zecter has two modes: Sword Mode and Gun Mode. The Drake, TheBee and Sasword Zecters can be summoned by it and attach onto the weapon, either individually or all at once. Also, depending on the Zecter that is currently attached, the Perfect Zecter is capable of utilizing a hyper version of the Zecter's finishing attack in either Gun or Sword Mode. Once a Zecter color is selected at the cross guard, the trigger is pulled to initiate the attack. By attaching all three Zecters, the "All Zecter Combine" command is activated, allowing the Maximum Hyper finisher. When Zecters attach onto the Perfect Zecter, they switch into Perfect Mode which is denoted by the color change and position change.
• Kabuto Extender is his Rider Machine, able to switch from the fast Masked Mode to the offensive-oriented Ex Mode

Kabuto, and here's my thinking. Momotaros has one weakness. His temper. Tendou is an epic troll. This was proven in episode.. well, in every damn episode. The fight would go the distance. Den-O would have to go Climax, and Kabuto would definately need Hyper. But in the end I see Kabuto winning because I feel he's a better fighter. And would exploit the hell out of the Imagin's personalities. Annoying them just enough to keep them distracted. And it isn't even about Clock Up in this fight. I really only see him using Clock Up as an annoyance. Just to kick Den-O around for a while to piss Momo off.

It'll come down to the Rider Kick. Climax'll fly up, spread his wings, and launch himself down for the final blow. And just before he hits Kabuto'll Hyper Clock Up and launch himself up. Aiming a kick straight down.. and into Den-O's belt shattering it.

Kabuto is not making it out of this fight unscathed. But in the end he'll be walking The Path of Heaven, and Momo'll be pouting on the Liner as someone steals his puddin.

why why must i choose 2 to rider i like but my love of Den-O is more strong and Deno would win due to he could travel back in time and stop the worms coming and stop tendo getting the rider systeam or stop it getting made full stop. so Den-O

My vote is for Den-O. It'd be a tough fight but I think he could take Kabuto.

This is hard... I feel Den-O could win if he uses the denliners attack modes. If not, Kabuto will gain the upper hand. It's not gonna be easy, but I feel Den-O couldn win this.

Kabuto. He fights calmly and patiently. I really see no way for Den-O to pull a win. Kabuto can play up Den-O's weaknesses and counter him perfectly.
And then you seriously have to factor in Clock Up and Hyper Clock Up. It's just too much of an obvious advantage for Kabuto. I seriously can't see Kabuto losing this one.

Also, for the Den-O voters, could you explain why Den-O would win? I'm curious to see your reasoning, please.

I accept your challenge. First off, imagin are unpredictable. You can't fight something well if you can't see it coming. Kabuto is at a downside there. Second of, CLOCK UP and HYPER CLOCK UP. These are Kabuto's best weapons, but it can't just be counted as an instant win. If Den-O can get to the Den Liner before Kabuto kills him, he can go back in time and attempt to stop Kabuto getting the Zecter. Kabuto can follow his as Hyper Kabuto, but if Den-O uses his finisher on him just as he arrives, Kabuto is down.

This is about the only circumstance I can come up with, so now I'm thinking I should've voted Kabuto. Him versus OOO would be interesing.

Kabuto. He's not as versatile as Den-O, but he's a lot more consistently skilled and he has great options against Den-O's various forms. He has decent ranged attacks, great melee, and the armor for Masked Form will protect him against some of Momo and Kin's stronger attacks. And when this goes into ultimate forms... Climax Den-O is a mess. Anything longer than one attack ends up with the Taros squabbling amongst each other and there's no way Tendou doesn't take advantage of that opening. Plus, you know, mother effing Clock Up.

Also there's something I thought of on the drive home today that I really want to do if the final is Kabuto vs. OOO. :p

Actually, the unpredictability isn't a point against Kabuto or for Den-O. It interferes with any form of flow Den-O has and Kabuto isn't one to get confused by his enemies.
The Den-Liner isn't playing a part in this battle because then they'd all be done by "Den-O gets on the Den-Liner. Because his opponent doesn't have a pass, he can't, so the fight ends."
And Kabuto pulls the Zector from time. He doesn't go find it, it comes to him. It can't be destroyed, and the Hyper Zector can pull a second Hyper Zector from another point in time. The Hyper Zector might as well qualify as pure energy, because as long as it existed once during history, it will always exist from then on.

I have to give this one for Tendo. That troll comment is perfect. He would just piss off what ever Imgagin was in charge. Climax form? I am reminded from a transformer comic when Ultra Magnus was fighting Menasor (combined Stunticons) and he just trolled all the individual members to the point he fell apart beating the hell out each other. If Den-O did the Climax mode, oh that would so happen. Dare I say I think he could win with OUT clock up? Tendo's mind is a freaking library, and I'm sure Grandmother would have said something about how a small dagger could take down a sword...or axe...or gun...
Though with the time travel aspect, it would be a pretty cool fight seeing them leap from era to era...
