finally got my kachidoki arms payment request from HLJ. Anyone else?

I JUST NOW received a payment request from HLJ for Arms Change Kachidoki Arms that I had pre-ordered, so hopefully some of you other guys will be getting your requests too.

Leave it to HLJ to continue to be a fucking worthless retailer. Not only did I not get a payment request, they just removed the whole damn pre-order from my account. They cancelled my order and didn't even bother to inform me :mad:

I got my payment request from hobbysearch. Do they always get their stuff a week after release? The same thing happened to me with my Kachidoki lockseed preorder too.

Oh man I managed to get Kachidoki from HLJ aswell, I almost gave up hope.

But on Sunday I'm going for a melon arms AC at cstoys, it'll be the last AC I get that'll get me back on track!

So I got a Peach Energy gashapon lock seed that doesn't make sounds - it just goes 'click' when you press the button. I've tried changing out the batteries and taking it apart and with no electrical skills can't figure out what's wrong. So I'm just going to order a new one since they are only $5 on CSToys. But - any fun ideas of what to do with a broken lock seed besides just a display item? :)

I really don't recall hearing about these kinds of problems with them until fairly recently, but then I haven't really dealt with them since 2007 barring the Kachidoki preorder.

Then again I may be inclined to forgive them since they once accidentally sent me two Dom 2.0s when I only ordered and was charged for one...

Personally, I've never had an issue with HLJ. They seem a little slow to process payments these days, but I've never not gotten something I ordered from them. I realize that makes me quite lucky and, considering all the vitriol leveled against them lately, it gives me some concern for the SHF Gaim I had to order from them.

Welp, so much for my favorite Rider series getting decent Lock Seeds. All the W LSs apparently have the shrill and annoying Ryugen voice.

What a damn shame.

The last 3 years with those jokers has been an absolute nightmare. Aside from some group orders for AC's that I've done there, I can't say I've had more than a handful of positive transactions there in my entire time shopping with them.

The incident of sending my Red Buster to a 2 year old address I didn't live at anymore, never refunding me, or working with me at all, is what completely soured me on them. They have no customer service.

HLJ are a total wildcard. AC Zangetsu - last I checked - was extremely expensive on the after market so I'm glad I got my preorder through them just fine. I've also put in preorders for a bunch of next gen Rider ACs with them, all of which either vanished from my account or have stayed in a permanent state of limbo. So fuck 'em. Nippon-Yasan have still been the worst company I have dealt with though, personally.

I'm pretty much well served by mandarake and jungle. HLJ lost my business a long time ago.

I'm probably just going to sit it out until the SHF version is announced and/or try my luck with Kiwami Arms. I only want one very specific combination from the AC line.

Cstoys had a lot of kachidoki ac figures today like 30 something hopefully those who missed out managed to grab one.

Yeah, I ordered Budou Arms and the Metallic Red Ressha. They still have 10 AC Kachidoki Arms.

Melon Arms, Diesel Ressha, Diesel-Oh, and the Rider Seeds all sold out FAST! I apparently didn't need to wake up for activation, because the two things I got are still in stock. But I didn't want to chance it.

Oh wow I just checked all of the ac figures (bar melon) are still in stock! After months of most ac stuff being out of stock this is a welcome surprise.

I've never ordered off of CSToys before but I really want me some Triumphant Arms.

They're a bit pricey but are good for last minute buyers like me who are often shit out of luck with preorders. Like I got zangetsu for £25 which is a bit much but compared to how much he goes for on ebay reaching the hundreds I'm fine with going down this route.

I got Triumphant for just over twenty five quid WITH shipping (and not the slowest shipping either) they cost about that much on Mandrake before even the slowest of shipping options have been added.

I really dont get why the secondary market jumped so high. Kamen Rider is such a niche interest in western culture, nearly all of us must use the same half dozen sites, surely people are aware of mandarake and other sites where these things are regularly available?

Id rather get my figures at RRP but if i spend an extra £5-10 i dont mind, id NEVER use a scalper because the prices are unrecognisable. It annoys me when people balk at paying a few £/$'s over the lowest prices just to be stubborn.

Has anyone ever bought stuff from Toku Taku toys? They have the bandai premium lockseeds up for pre-order and I'm tempted to try them since CSToys closed their preorders a while ago.

It's run by okinawa(I forgot the rest of his name) and he's been very reliable in the past as a middleman for me.

I knew they offered the Bravo/Gridon set but I never saw the other come up. Dadgumit. I was counting on getting both there so I had a shot at the Sid Lock Seed.
