Bit of an odd choice having not so Best Buy having Dark Pit's amiibo. But I guess some people will go to any length to get every amiibo for SSB4.

God damn it. I don't necessarily have a problem with retailer exclusives, but with the low amiibo stock and no online option, this is pretty upsetting.

Actually, being store exclusive means that there's a bigger chance of getting it, because all the stock will be going to one chain instead of going to multiple chains.

Wrong. It means EVERYONE will be going to this ONE place now. It decreases the chances of getting it actually, because there's basically one chance. And with it in stores only, you're now competing with the loonies who will camp out for hours before the store opens... If you even have one close enough to warrant a drive to.

You know this means that the entire stock will be in one known locations, meaning that there is no chance of stumbling across one in a Walmart or anything, right?
Everyone knows it's in BB and it's not available online, so it's making it harder to find unless you live in an area where no one wants any Amiibos.

But does that mean Best Buy will limit purchases to 1 per customer? Because that extra stock will be pointless if scalpers are gonna buy them all up.

Best Buy limits one of each character per customer. So if you want him, you need to camp unless you have more than one nearby Best Buy. I only have two in my area, one lesser known to others. The lesser known one had an EXTREMELY low stock of Wave 4 on launch day, with the very first guy out of 4 (me being the 4th) to get the one Robin and Lucina. The more well known Best Buy had a line.

Glad I ordered a Japanese Dark Pit, saves me the time of hunting. Just bummed that the price went lower to $21 on the weekend, could've saved $2 :lol

That's something else that's getting me thinking that DarkPit will be easier to get than other unicorns. From what i've seen a lot of people just decided to import the dang things to complete they're collections to save the hassle, maybe this mean that there will be less competition at the launch day?

As far as i remember the two of them in Uprising were the same physically ergo they have the same stats.

Dark Pit uses a gun, though, not Palutena's bow, which makes things confusing that they didn't even change that little aspect.

What? I thought Lucina was the most hated character. She is almost exactly like Marth. At least Dr Mario has a unique move compared to Mario and Dark Pit has a different Final Smash.

In the character's defense she doesn't have Marth's sour/sweet spot system to worry about. Although from what I've read on TV Tropes it's the "anime" characters that are hated the most, at least in North America. I kinda wonder why that is because for a while I thought Master Core would be the most hated; hands down.

@Matrix: Yeah; it's a bummer we only have 6 people that own 3DS Smash. In all fairness most of the people that own 3DSes on here have one or more Pokémon games and I can understand how much time goes into those types of games.

But Master Core is a boss.....

I never understood the hate for "anime-like" characters. First off, they are not anime characters, they are videogame characters based in a very particular Japanese style that many mediums over there use. Secondly, they are all different characters with different playstyles, so why the fuck does that even matter. To me, that's about as ignorant as saying "Keep these animal platformer motherfuckers out of this game."

I think you missed the "-like" portion of when you quoted "Anime-like."

I just downloaded all of the DLC fighters for Smash. Loving Mewtwo and Ryu so far. I haven't try out Roy and Lucas yet.

I know for a fact I have both versions of SSB4. But yeah; congrats YoungOp and Electric on getting SSB4 for 3DS. At some point we should share codes.
