Mach seems to have an oddly big shard compared to the other past Riders in the background. I guess his actor might return in the movie? I really want a better quality image though to see who all the past Riders are.

It seems to feature the main 20 Heisei Riders in their ultimate forms and then a selection of secondaries or even movie Riders (Skull is there).

I actually really dig how it reverses the color scheme of Grand Zi-O, the ridewatch on the forehead is a little silly, but nowhere near as bad as the statue on Grand Zi-O's helmet.

Speaking of Grand Zi-O, this form only seems to require one ride watch on the right side of the Ziku Driver, so I wonder if it's possible we'll get a moment with Sougo trying to use both watches at once.

I personally find it a little plain-looking, though that's probably because I've been growing on Grand Zi-O's over-the-top ridiculousness. It's definitely what I think most people were speculating his final form to be from the beginning though, a 'good' version of Oma Zi-O.

Zi-O's form looks nice.

I'm more concerned with playing "Where's Waldo" with all the Riders in the shards though.

Preferably repaint ohmaZio with simpler replacement parts for military pieces on the armor suit. Sougo still doesn't feel like a king or like he earn anything. Everything was just handed to him especially with woz worshiping him like the real ohma. Where does his loyalty lies? It's fitting that he get his rude watch on his head. It fits sougo over the top silliness. He's not over egotistic, but he give off carefree vibe of a kid that believes and love himself too much to point he slap his watch on his forehead as a joke as if everyone doesn't know who he is already

Yeah not feeling that new form. Grand's ludicrousness seems to represent Sougo's childlike mentality and his strong desire to honour the Kamen Rider name if he's going to use their powers. This just seems to exist as a way to make a needless link to Oma Zi-O. I say needless as Oma is literally Zi-O himself so there's nothing else to link them together

This new form feels like it would be Zi-O's final form if this show wasn't a anniversary show, but as it stands Zi-O is anniversary show and it would be weird if all his upgrades past the Decade Armor had nothing to do with that aspect.

Again, Grand' design also fits Sougo himself. He's actually loving the encounters with Kamen Riders of the past and wants to be a 'good overlord', which would involve him honouring his past Riders and what better way to honour the past than literally wear all the past Riders?

Love this design. I get a weird Egyptian feel from it due to the piece across the chest. And then there's that weird little Egyptian sounding music that plays once in a while....connection? Lol!

Come to think of it Zi-O always have a subtle middle eastern theme to it.

Like Os, there's the music and design, but budget and kids side prevent them going deep in to that lore and mythology. Even yugioh went with the Egypt culture. Apex a bit more western sterotype version.

I was more commenting on the design of the new form itself. I wasn't saying it was better than Grand(which is the design I prefer)just the way new form looks like it would be Zi-O's final form if you took out the anniversay aspect of the show.

This is... really intriguing to me.

Like I know Zi-O's form is front and center but it's just more interesting to see the glass shard riders.

Like okay, you've got the three exclusive Movie Riders, those make sense. Then there's several Riders in their final forms, okay that makes sense too.

Then you start getting into the rest with Secondary Riders, but then you get extra's like Zolda, Poppy and Grease. Then it just gets weirder with movie riders like Skull, Sangou, Orga, Caucasus, etc.

Like... what were the reasoning behind the choices here and are they intentional?

Hm... Maybe the tv Riders there, aside from the main Riders, will actually have their actors in the movie? The movie Riders though might be more tied into a plot about alternate or erased timelines even if only making suit-only appearances.

Aside from Eternal (and Skull if you count him as a movie character), they would fit that pattern, while the selection of tv Riders seems completely random (like Grease but no Cross-Z) unless it's tied to actor availability in some way.

3 is the most surprising one to me, given how he's essentially a Showa rider.

Then again, this movie does seem to be about the technically-debuted-in-Heisei Riders...
