I love Wizard! It's not the best show and is admitedly cliche, but it holds a rather special place in my heart. I mean, the fact that it was the second Rider show I watched might play a part in my opinion of it, but still.

Wizard is a really damn good show that has very few missteps and archives what it sets out to achieve.

It's MOTW episodes really nail the theme it wants to explore and are perfect for that specific thing.

It's not a very plot-heavy show, which probably is why it gets a fair bit of flack, but it kind of never wanted to be, which makes the criticism feel hollow to me. People are trying to criticize features as if they were bugs.

Also, Haruo is straight up my favorite Main Rider. He has a lot of characterization and a lot of subtext to him that just speaks to me on a fundamental level!

This show rocks!

Wizard has a special place in my heart because I watched it when college was being really stressful for me, and seeing a cool hero beat monsters in the name of hope without having to keep track of too much big plot was exactly what I needed at the time. That doesn't make it objectively good, but in terms of sentimental value to me personally it's second only to W (the first season I watched).

It's also the season I'm most interested in rewatching, because while to me it seemed to be mostly style over substance (but such style!), I've heard other people praise Haruto's subtle characterization and arc of healing from trauma, and I want to see whether I pick up on that paying more attention a second time.

Seems if you wait long enough, history will alter course and people will like the show once dogged on.
I recall people only really letting up on Wizard once Ghost dropped and it became the new "Bad show" :lol

Agree. Considering how long it's been since I watched Wizard, it's amazing how many episodes that are not important to the main plot I remember. Some will say that this is a dubious merit, but this is the type of show that mostly consists of MOTW. I won?t say that Wizard is superior to W or Fourze, but from OOO I can only remember offhand the father and son who took up vigilantism and Date's friend, with whom everyone fell in love.

You know what? Fuck the Outsiders. Give me Kamen Rider Nobodies.
Give me a mini series featuring a Riotrooper, a Kurokage Trooper, a Demons Trooper, someone using a G3 Mild unit, a Rideplayer, and a random End Rider from Geats (And maybe a Zect Trooper, depending on whether you classify them as one)
This group of nobodies with unremarkable abilities need to save the world while the big riders are off doing their typical drama between men.
We ain't got no Faiz Blasters to waste on a henchman. You gotta use everything you got just to take down a random MOTW

That would be really cool. Plus, it allows to create characters from scratch, rather than playing Tetris with existing ones.

Seriously Wizard is simple episodic series that has more charm than what i gave it credit for, rewatching it really make me view it in much better light

I'm trying to come up with a new Rider series that has vibes of Kamen Rider Blade & Ex-Aid, but I just don't know what would be the fitting themes.

- Ex-Aid & Blade are the protagonist riders and yet Ex-Aid has been a newcomer like Leangle where Mutsuki is possessed by the Spider Undead and Emu has the Bugster Parado.

- Garren & Brave are similar as both lost their lovers by the Undead & Bugsters. Both riders betrayed their allies.

- Chalice & Snipe? Both seem to be the first riders as they're anti-heroes.

- Glaive & Genm? Both seem similar to me in different ways. Glaive & Blade are alike with the sword and Genm is a prototype of Ex-Aid as well as CEO.

I just can't seem to find the right theme that are similar to those two Heisei rider seasons as they represent "games" & "immortality".

With Ultraman Arc and Wing-Man airing simultaneously, along with Kiramager and ToQger being all about the power of imagination, is there also a Kamen Rider who uses imagination as a power source?

Does Ex-Aid count? The dude made games from his imagination.

Reegarding the whole 'Shouma is the wolf Granute that killed Hanto's mother' theory, I would like to point out that Gavv himself has interesting design choices; the feet are clawed, the shape of the head (as pointed by someone from TVTropes) resembles the silhouette of a wolf head seen from the front (with the pointy bits being 'ears'), and the mouthplate pattern resembles a snout.

One thing I keep thinking about is how the wolf granute is very clearly shown to have a mouth on its face, which is the one place the other part-timers DON'T have mouths (at least not visible ones). I'm not quite sure what the significance of that is yet, but it could be another clue that it's Shoma, since it could be caused by his human side and having a defective gavv would mean he needed a mouth on his face to eat with.

The mouth is basically a relic of the fact they recycled the costume from Donbrothers’ Dekaranger monster.

But the twins also look like wolves, and the mouth, as Androzani84 pointed out, is a production feature. The main advantages of the theory are precisely the red gavv and Shouma’s headache. And the downsides: is it too obvious? That is, such things work because of their suddenness. So, if in the near future at least Shouma himself does not remember the circumstances of his madness, then it seems to me that some kind of secret twist is taking place. It seems that Shouma was there, but it was not he who kidnapped Hanto’s mother; are these transferred memories from the one who was fed or are there other mestizos in Granute`s world.

It feels surreal to think Dragon Knight is as old as Saban’s Masked Rider was when KR: DK came out.

It does feel weird that they haven?t had one yet, given the pattern the Reika shows have established so far.

They do include a few vibes that make me feel Sachika will have a Rider form, and the OP is kind of structured around it as well.

But that may as well just be them covering their bases, it's not the first time an OP included things that never happened in the show, or rather they did have something in the OP and then scrambled during the last few episodes to still feature it in some way. Drive and Zero-One come to mind.

I would say that female-written rider shows usually don't have female riders, but the sample size is too small to make that claim.There are hints that Sachika could be a rider, but I think that would only be possible in the case of a particularly tricky twist that not everyone would like. After all, for now she has a very non-combat image and plot role.

I am still upset that the future of Geats World is not much explored. We still don't know about the full story and real cause of the apocalypse in the future Geats World and only say that plants dominate the world in the future. These plants were later used to create Jyamato for DGP tournaments. Also, the villain character's background is quite boring too, especially Suel, and he is one of the least interesting final villains, in my opinion. In DGP Management, only Niram and Ace's mother have interesting character backgrounds. But, I really enjoy the hero characters, soundtrack, Rider designs, and tournament concepts in the Geats series.

I understood from the last movie that there is a time paradox. Jamato God causes the Apocalypse, people leave Earth, change themselves, create a DGP with villains based on Jamato, which ultimately leads to the creation of Jamato God. Buffa convinced the boy to accept humanity, so the world of Geats shouldn`t be created and all the events of the show not have been happened at all.

How would you create a new Reiwa rider season with vibes of Kamen Rider Blade & Kamen Rider Ex-Aid?

What would be good concepts for that?

So I know that not every method works best for every patient, but if you ever switch from injections to patches you should totally come up with your own henshin pose for putting them on.

I tried patches first but developed an allergy to the adhesives. But I do the injections near my stomach, so it already feels a little like putting a collectable in a driver! (IIRC some of the Amazonz drivers even had syringes for collectables?) Maybe I should start saying "henshin!" as I do it XD
