There is this guy. It's a model kit tho. |
I rather like the Figma of both Gridman and Gridknight, but yeah, I do hope Figuarts one day revives/updates the old Ultra Act Gridman. Been wanting that for awhile now. But 'spensive.
|
Is the Ghost Figuarts as bad as people say that one should wait years for a SS remake, or is worth it just for completing a Rider collection ?
|
If you want it literally just to represent Ghost and nothing else, yeah, go for it. But if you want a figure that's actually good wait for either a Seihou or a Figure-Rise kit.

Revealed price for Prime Rogue is 6,600 yen. Not bad for a barebones figure considering Cross-Z Evol is literally 7800 yen or higher despite having the same amount of stuff. |
I actually think the Ghost Figuarts, at least the two I own, are solid. The torso range is definitely hindered, but I think they're nice figures, if you can get them for pretty cheap.

That helmet mold is just as fucked as it's always been. It's certainly not better than what we had before.
If they had done ANYTHING to address the mold, it definitely would have been advertised and marketed, rather than doubling down, like they're doing with this release. They clearly don't give a shit, and I can't really blame them since Prime Rogue had about 3 minutes of screentime. It's just really a shame that they wasted their only opportunity to give us an accurate mold for such a great Kamen Rider design. Best case scenario, we could have gotten an actual, show-accurate Rogue head packaged with this release. |
Yeah that looks a thousand times better, wow... little tempted now
|
The most baffling thing is how they retooled the original Rogue head but instead of fixing it they made it worse :lol
A screen accurate head and a bonus one for the first release of the mold would've been great, I agree. Quote:

I think it’s definitely going to be one of those figures that’s not difficult to get on Mandarake, like RabbitDragon and Grease Perfect.

On the other hand, considering how Grease Perfect at Mandarake is still over the price I would be willing to shell out money for over, I guess I'll wait for a few years. |

Decade complete finally getting an update. Between this and the upcoming Decade FRS, I personally don't care for it, but happy for those who do. |
it's been 11 years... and finally the microphone head got a SS
|
As much as I love Decade's antics, his Final Form is ATROCIOUS to look at...but I'll be buying this one too....

Tokullectibles just got their shipments of Genm Lvl X-0 and Shining Assault Hopper in so should expect those to show up for people within the next week. Just paid off the other half for my Genm order.

Decade Complete is truly something else.
He looks like the mascot of a billboard company. He looks like a futuristic cyberpunk football uniform where sponsors can pay to advertise. He looks like ironic streetwear fashion we're gonna see 10 years from now. He looks like the reassurance that AI will never take over because only a human could design something so out there. He looks like a time traveler from the future where Toei ran out of ideas. |
He looks beautiful

Apologies if this has been answered before, but just how bad are the elbow joints on SHF SS Kabuto?
The SS release is a big hole in my Kabuto collection and I've always held off due to the high aftermarket prices and potentially fragile elbows. Now I have an opportunity to get one for an acceptable price. I don't play with SHF figures that much and I would most likely leave this one in the box, but I'd hate to break it. |
Whoever told you that is talking out of his ass. I've owned every variation of the SS Kabuto mold and none of them have had that issue. It is a somewhat common issue with Decade and Diend, but I have genuniely never heard of that being an issue with any of the SS Kabuto mold figures.
I also play with my Figuarts quite a bit. |
Nah, the Kabuto mold is prone to the same problem. If anything, your elbows not cracking in some form means you either lucked out with your quality or have been handling moving the arms very well.
From what I can feel based on my Kabuto, Decade and DiEnd, the problem is that if the elbow joint is too tight, it leaves the whole thing prone to fracture from moving the arm in any way that can put stress on the joint. Like moving the arms outward by pulling on the forearm for example. Heck I handled my Kabuto no differently from my other figuarts and his elbow joint just decided to crack in two on its own between handlings. |
That really sucks. I've never even seen that problem listed on AmiAmi or Mandarake for the Kabuto mold, whereas I can spot quite a few for Decade and Diend.
I've had all my stuff pre-ordered, so it could have something to do with these figures being left in their packaging for too long in bad conditions, especially if they're secondhand. I had this issue with really old Figuarts that were bought secondhand and a little grease/oil got the job done. |

When was Agito Shining released? Before or after the SS? Or was he some sort of anomaly? His proportions and height look nearly identical to SS Agito. |

I'm no stranger to toy repairs or fixes, but for something this expensive, and such a unique part, I just want to know what I'm in for. |

Unless the figure has been in storage under cold conditions for a really long time, I wouldn't worry about it. |
As someone who poses figures quite often, my Neo Decade, Diend, and Dark Kabuto are all in fine shape. As is regular Kabuto, but I've only had him a couple of days.
Not saying it's not an issue, but I personally haven't had any with them. |

Momo releases on the 10th!

Bit curious as to how Ultraman Z Alpha Edge is still the only SHF for Z. I'd imagine we'd at least get a teaser for Beta Smash and the lance sometime by now, along with SHF Saber since I remember around this time of the month Rising Hopper was revealed.
Unless they were actually saving everything for the Tamashii Nations event, in which of course, I completely understand. |

Geed Galaxy Rising should happen for sure, maybe Z Delta Rise Claw, certainly whatever ends up being Z' final form. Quote:
Personally, I wouldn't rule out a Sevenger either considering how crazy popular that robot is. |

Wait, so, you're telling me we won't get his lance? Unless they pack it in with a possible basic Z... Excited for Geed Galaxy Rising tho, he'd certainly be packed with a 1/12 Z-Riser. |
Given the lance got basically no screentime I wouldn’t be surprised if they went without it. Definitely could go either way.
With each episode though I do grow sadder that Alpha Edge doesn’t come with a Z-Riser |

I feel like they could pull a new form out at the very end here. Quote:
