Anyway, what exactly did call?

Big Mac losing his voice, and Fluttershy needing to fill in for him. I totally called it. I didn't see Flutterguy coming though.

Ah, alright then. I personally went nuts once I realized what was going on. Best part of the episode of course being:

Turkey call? Eyup.
Trash your voice? Eyup.
Zecora remedy? Eyup.
Not quick enough? Nnope.
Needed a deep voice? Eyup.
Poison Joke? Eyup.
Flutterguy? Eyup.
Better now? Eyup.
And that shy filly was livin' her dream in the shadows because she couldn't bring herself to come into the spotlight? Eyup
Well, for corn's sake! Let's go!

I liked that as well...oh Applejack, You so smart.

Anyway...Pinkie was a terrible friend in this episode. Overall, it was cliché, but it had a lot of clever twists and additions, that give it more...substance (for lack of a better term). I liked all the continuity nods, and there was some dark imagery with Gummy and that turkey, first that Falcon, and now this?

Yeah... Writers, can we please avoid writing Pinkie as a clueless ditz with now empathy for others?... Please?

Oh well, aside from how Pinkie was handled (Turkey Call joke not withstanding) it was a pretty solid episode. Would've been one of season four's best if not for Pinkie.

It makes you wonder how Pinkie functions as a party planner when she doesn't understand how others' emotions work...

Why don't we all just agree that Pinkie was suffering from a strange case of food poisoning in this episode and call it good? I know I am. It's the only logical explanation for why the Element of Laughter could make so many ponies sad (aside from a Changeling).
