Ohh, neon joints with leds, christmas style, I could dig that.

It's far from being a logical choice, but MS aren't that logical to begin with, and it might tie in with a gimmick or something.
Heck, it could very well be incomplete at that point.

I kind of like the idea of being able to escape from a exploding robot.
I'm not overly fond of death by exploding robot.

I don't mind the neon.
