Looking at it a bit closer, they interestingly don't have Kiva pictured here either; so maybe Kuuga and Decade not having pictures right now is just a coincidence? Especially with Den-O being so recent and OOO already getting a re-issue.

They're also showing them next to Rider Kicks re-issue Blade and others, so maybe they're just re-issuing ALL main riders and not just Seihou?? It definitely doesn't feel like that's out of the question for the 50th anniversary!

Honestly, I'm not sure why lead character base-suits for SS aren't continuously being reissued. There are new fans coming to these series all the time, and having a high-end figure of your favorite/first Riders is such a rite of passage. I don't know, this (potential!) move just makes a world of sense to me.

As someone who got the original release of SS Kuuga literally right before the first reissue happened, I feel your pain.

How come Hyper Kabuto is not on the Tamashii Nations 20 voting list? Wasn't it in the previews for it?

I am very skeptical about the reissue of main SS character. Until there is some official news, I won’t believe it.

Yeah as much as I'd love them to reissue the mains (So I can replay my Kabuto mainly), I'm not believing this reissue rumor until it's officially stated or not.

Yeah, so; I'm definitely sceptical because it's a very too-good-to-be-true thing; also these prices are extremely cheap, ESPECIALLY Hibiki being under 5000 Yen -- SHFs never dip that low beyond the cheaper main rider, and even then Seihous hover around 6K-7K and that's even before the amount of accessories Hibiki has.

On the other hand this is a very convincing fake if that is the case, and I'm not sure why anyone would do this especially if they're supposed to be revealed tonight or tomorrow anyway?? It's one of those things where I'm not sure either way. And, as I said before; rereleasing all main riders as a 50th anniversary thing does sound like a very smart move anyway. We saw something very similar in the lead-up to Zi-O and they KNOW their Seihous are in high demand.

Man, I just want them to reissue Decade. Or maybe Double cuz I'd like that Memory of Heroez display.

I want them to re-issue all of them because, well, it's dumb that it's this difficult to get any main rider and people deserve a shot if they're not fond of model kits.

Selfishly the only one I really want is Kuuga. I -guess- his Seihou has been re-issued but I've been all over the place and can barely find one for a decent price.

It feels like a thing that Bandai hasn't completely wrapped its head around, that this is now a gigantic, evergreen franchise, not a series of one-year concepts. It's not good enough to have a one-off production run of a Seihou Rider to meet pent-up demand, because there are going to be an endless number of new fans showing up in the future who weren't even around for the first offering.

Like, Saber merch can be a one-year thing, but they need to be making a Saber SHF forever.

Made me think what a possible SHFSS Saber would look like. WRB form change compatibility, fabric waist cloth. detailed WRBs, light-up sword??

WRB form change compatibility would be really hard to pull off in SHF format since a lot of details do change, unlike something like OOOs. Even SO-DO, the penultimate action figure line in terms of form changing and compatibility in general, hasn't pulled it off perfectly yet.

Detailed WRBs would be wonderful...it's baffling to me that detailed trinket items are no longer the standard.

I'd bet they would figure out some kind of genius engineering to not make the dragon shoulder tied to the torso.(or possibly shoulders in general)

Build seriously showing off its popularity here! Bit surprised by Blood Stalk since he's not too hard to find, would have expected Rogue more; but I get it.

I have to agree with Kiwami that Blade King is... not something I want to see here, honestly. It is hard to find now, but Blade is going to get a Seihou within the next couple of years; and Blade is a season with so few suits that they would get to King pretty quickly. There's going to be a much better version of this figure made in the next few years which is more than can be said for any other figure in the top 10.

Since Cross-Z and Evol basically seem locked in now, I'm voting Grease in hopes he'll usurp Blade King as the 5th place. Feels weird voting for a character I'm not even fond of, but I think people deserve another chance at getting him.

Sold out within an hour after going live last Friday. Singlehandedly melted their servers too. While I was suffering in the pits of Tartarus trying to pre-order Black for more than 45 minutes, I checked on the other "popular" figures that went up for order alongside him - Gundam, Marvel, Star Wars... everything was still available.

Which both impresses and frightens me.

If you're trying to figure out who to vote for; it's noted here that places 5-10 are extremely contested for fifth place. The other 5 likely to get fifth place are Lazer Level 2, Blood Stalk, Grease, Grease Blizzard and Zangetsu Shin.

If he wins I might actually go for the Level 2 lazer since I have no clue if and when Figure Rise gets to secondary riders, not even talking about quadritiary bike riders!

It makes a lot of sense too -- of the main four Riders, Lazer was the only one that didn't get a retail release (disregarding his, uh, unconventional nature) and it completes that one iconic shot.

It's definitely a good choice, as are most things here -- a lot of them fall under stuff that had something really stupid and limited about their release (Evol, Ohma Zi-O) or are so important and prominent to the point they never should have been exclusive in the first place (Cross-Z, Zangetsu Shin, Grease, Lazer). And just about all of them are very expensive to get on the aftermarket. It's also why so much stuff here is Build -- that's the line where things REALLY started to get piled onto Premium Bandai, and at least Zi-O and Ghost got all their main ones at retail.

Bit surprised at a lack of Ex-Aid beyond Lazer though, especially absolutely no Genm. Maybe his popularity's finally starting to wear off? Machine Builder, Rogue, Chaser and Necrom also shock me in their absence given Machine Builder's accessory pack nature and the others' importance and popularity - they certainly fall under 'why is this not retail' - though I bet a lot of these are in the 11th-15th places.

Ex-Aid stuff isn't really hard to get on the aftermarket, aside from Level 2 Lazer. Not a single Genm release right now is expensive nor hard to find. Same with Rogue, Chaser, and Necrom. Genm Level X-0 just barely came out less than 2 months ago. There's no reason to reissue that aside from catering to people who really want level X, which has dropped in price significantly since X-0's announcement. I've seen Necrom for as low as 40 USD which is actually below the original MSRP. Chaser is a highly outdated mold, using the same proportions as the Gaim line, so it really isn't too expensive despite being such an important character.

Bike prices have always been fucked, but I guess since bikes aren't as prominent anymore nowadays the only reason anyone would vote for them is if they were also a Rider lol

Knowing Cross-Z and Ohma Zi-O are in the top 4 and are pretty much locked in so far makes me happy in ways that are hard to express...

And neither is Zangetsu Shin, but he's still there. My point is that these are extremely prominent characters that were left out of the line's retail releases, especially in Necrom and Chaser's cases where the rest of the important stuff was all retail; and in Rogue's case all his fellow riders except Mad Rogue are present on this list. I'm going by popularity and what the trends are on the list, not what is or isn't actually difficult to find or expensive.

I'm curious where you're finding Rogue for good prices though because I've had no luck -- he's consistently around 9000 Yen and even then when a listing goes up he sells out in seconds.

It's fantastic. All of the top 4 are stuff that is among some of the most infamously hard-to-get SHF exclusives, and going by the current top 10 whatever makes it to fifth place should be along the same lines. This is gonna be a pretty exciting time for collectors
