Can't agree more. Having "henshin" anywhere in Power Rangers would be beyond stupid.

ZeoRangerV is right, there is absolutely no reason to keep "henshin", or any other Japanese word for the sake of sounding cooler, as a call phrase in Power Rangers. "Henshin" is particularly egregious because very few Super Sentai teams use it as part of their call phrases, making it a poor homage.

Why would they use the word henshin when it's completely nonsensical in the English language? Remember these shows really are aimed at kids.

And those are only ever treated as symbols, not words. And as silly as their inclusion is Samurai can get away with it since its established the powers are from 'ancient' Japan.

Indeed, those have a reason to be there. And heck, they're on the freakin helmets. It wouldn't make sense to have not explained them as Japanese symbols.

Henshin would just be nonsensical.
