No it's true. On the original Mobirates though, it makes the special key sound but then says "Kaaaaamen Rider OOO" when you hit the button.

Is there a code on the original Mobirates to get the Kamen Rider sound?

There's not a code I know of. I'm pretty sure it can only be key activated. You just need a solid key(as in one that pushes down all the pins) You can do this by putting tape on an existing key if you want to demo the sound, but make sure the tape is as flush as possible. Some people have messed up their Mobirates by getting tape stuck in there. I've tried it before myself, so I can verify that it works.

Wow! Have you guys seen how much the original Mobirate is going for? I was looking to see how much they where being sold since a friend wants me to sell his for him. I'm in shock. I guess the OOO ranger key is driving the price up.

I don't understand why they would need to make such significant changes for the Legend Mobirates.
Has there been any official or unofficial explanation for this change as form saying that it is a general role play toy for sentai?
I think having more sounds like the Gokaiger one makes it more adept for general role play than having less sounds.

Wouldn't it be less work to simply replace the casing then it is to create a new set up with different sounds even if it is less sounds?
