Am I the only that finds these kind of lack luster compared to the inordinate powers from season 1?

no, I agree. These don't look nearly as interesting to me as the other ones are. I assume that I'll find them more interesting once I finally get around to watching season 2.

I'm pretty sure the Dairen Bomber is one of the greatest weapons, possibly, ever made :p
