Actually, they do say "SPD Emergency." It's just hard to hear over the explosion.

this was a solid first episode, as a person who's first sentai was gokaiger, i was nervous but they honestly have done a really good job. I am happy. its not perfect, and i am sick of the use of super mega to name everything, but you know what, megaforce was enjoyable and this is setting up to be

people need to stop comparing power rangers to super sentai like this, they will never be the same, just enjoy it for what it is and you will find yourself happier with the end result

The difference from what I'm reading is that the roll calls would have been called out WHILE they're changing. So it'd be like "SPD! EMERGENCY!" and "NINJA STORM! RANGER FORM!" while transforming into that respective ranger. Aka their version of the Gokai Change. Mystic Force's transformation catchphrase was heard, but not the others from the sounds of it.

That's not the same as the characters constantly chatting during the entire fight scene, which has been a problem ever since Samurai. They can't let a fight scene play out without a constant train of unfunny dialogue layered over it.

Well that was somewhat better than I expected, probably since so much of it was action based/used the Gokaiger footage. Some spoilery bullet points:
-I was intrigued about getting an explanation for Jake's change in color when they brought it up as I never expected it to be addressed but then they promptly take it away :/
-Interested to see if they can incorporate the idea of using Legendary modes taking a toll on you or if it's just an excuse for why they don't always use those powers all the time.
-Disappointed they didn't call the way to grow the monsters Sattilasers, would have been a cool throwback.
-I know it was cheesy as hell but I liked the speech at the end, reminds me of something you'd hear near the end of a Sentai season.

You need flash player installed. You should be able to side load it, just like an Android tablet can. If not, at least consider rooting it so it can have Google services access. Or, wipe it out and install Cyangenmod. Makes it a full Android tablet, so when flash is sideloaded, it'll work like a charm. A lot of these websites promise HTML5 video and coding, but doesn't work as promised, in my personal experience.

Kindle's Silk browser, while pretty, won't get the job done.

just watched it on youtube. wont slag it off too bad, it was a passable adaptation. but the acting is still appalling, even the supporting humans were terrible. felt like somebody offscreen had a gun pointed at them. but hey, could be worse. the monster voiceovers were fine

I thought it was alright. I mean, it could of been worse..... Also Troy being the bland tofu as he always is at the end. Wish Jake was the leader.
