Which is the exact opposite of the situation with PR: the plots aren't amazing, varied or interesting, so people are more aware the the same shit is going on.

Saban, stop doing this crap, for the love of god. This needs to be the last time they tack "Super" onto the title of their seasons. This "Super-blahblabblah" bullshit is getting old. And how much do you wanna bet that the theme will be another MMPR remix again?

I think that might be why they skipped Go-Busters. They have four excuses in a row to use the same theme because it relates to MMPR in some way or because it's a tribute to something. Samurai was their first new season and they thought it would be cool to remix the original theme for it, Megaforce had a team with colors that resembled the MMPR "main five" colors, and Super Megaforce is the anniversary season.

And now they'll probably do it again with Dino Charge because it's a dino themed season like MMPR and DT. If they HAVE to do a remix theme for Dino Charge, I'd like to see a remix of Zeo or Dino Thunder's theme done for this one to spice things up a little bit.

Well, let's look at this realistically: why does Saban care about fans like us? We're not the intended audience. This is a show for elementary/primary school children. They're the majority of the audience. They're the ones who are going to buy the majority toys (well, it will be with their parents' money, but you get the point). Their the majority of viewers. If older people are watching, that's great for Saban, but we're such a small minority, we're practically irrelevant. Yes, Super Megaforce was marketed towards fans, but Saban doesn't have to make it for fans. If we complain, Saban won't pay attention. Saban has a formula, it makes a lot of money for Saban, and the only trade-off (aside from taxes) is that a small group of people is grumbling.

The only way that fans can get Power Rangers to be made with effort is if we bought Power Rangers and made it ourselves. And, really, how many of us are actually capable of doing so?

As a 16-year-old, I could feasibly audition for the part of a Ranger and deliver an excellent performance, but I'd have to work with the writing that's given to me, no matter how sub-par, in addition to a cast that might not be as invested as I would be.

The gist of this post is, we can grumble and protest as much as we want, but Saban doesn't care about us.

Extremely disappointing but true, sadly. Power Rangers is very successful financially. There's no need to change from a business perspective.

As long as the kids are happy I guess. But boy do they deserve better.

Why shouldn't they keep taking them down? I don't know Japanese law, but I'd imagine it's probably similar to the way things are in the States. Periodically, companies have to go out and vigorously defend their IPs, otherwise someone can challenge their trademark on the grounds of abandonment. Granted it's a lot more complicated than that, but I've never understood why people get so riled up about companies protecting their property.

Because Toei never releases any of their tokustasu outside of Japan. Plus, since we don't have Japanese Television and most of us can't understand the language,fan subs on youtube and downloads are the only way to go.

If Toei actually tried to sell the stuff in the Western market that they keep trying to take down, that'd make too much sense. Yes, its illegal, but its not like I watch the out righted posted RAW, which is actually illegal.

Actually, I'm all for this is we somehow get original Kyoryuger Mega-Mode figures.
