I was just reminded about Kanji and unrelated to your post, a lot of people think he's gay.

he's not, like I said, the joke ending for him in Arena proves it.

Gay Kanji is hilarious, though~

I kinda like him not being gay because it shows you can have a personal crisis about your own sexuality and stay the same sexuality which you always had.

also, Kanji and Naoto are cute together and they'd make a great couple, so I like him in that regard as well.

I can see that. I don't feel strongly in any given way concerning Kanji.

shadow Kanji is perfect. I love how he is just a perversion of Kanji's fear to an extreme. so well thought out.

Personally, I think it's great that Kanji is not gay because he's a character that proves "feminine" things are not only something girls can enjoy and be good at. I think the message would lose a lot of impact if Kanji was actually gay, because gay people are considered feminine. Kanji unites both gender clichés without being much different than "average" males.
