Jiraiya spoke English in Kakuranger, so it's a possibility.

Jiraiya didn't just speak English, English is the actor's first language. I feel as if that was part of what made Jiraiya work. I hope Ninninger goes the same route of casting a non-native to Japan as this non-native character.

I also would be happy if they brought back Jiraiya's actor for the part (not the character, the actor).

I thought this was shuriken sentai ninninger not fast food sentai ameranger but in all seriousness (psh ya right i am never serious) I like the overall suit design and the cowboy mofit is great and the mecha is cool but... that burger charger... is just too much for me. now excuse me i am going to eat ten burgers with fifty sides of fries.

I wonder if our sponsor McDonald's has a hand in the changer.

I did not know this as I've never seen Kakuranger.
I started watching tokusatsu back when Decade started airing.

The only english speaking toku character I've known of until now was Kamen Rider Psyga.

They actually did it. My chin is on the floor right now, yet somehow I'm grinning the biggest grin I have ever grinned. I'm markin' out bro! Our first cowboy ranger, and he is also a ninja!

While I'm not to thrilled about gold again, especially after a beautiful orange, I can't stay mad at a fellow American for too long. That's right...American. He is stereotyped all the way, but I don't care. I want everything guitar playing, burger eating, cowboy ninja related like yesterday. I love that he has a "shield" which is actually a poncho/bandana, because of course it is. I feel like a sixth hasn't had a shield in a long time. The red, blue, and black accents also help break up the gold.

The burger changer is weird, but still awesome. The shuriken becomes the cheese people! The cheese! It actually reminds me a lot of Shurikenger's changer because of the way it's held, and it's shape. It also has flames on it so this isn't even hard. It's a buy. The guitar sword gun is just more awesome, and stereotypical cowboy so it's a buy too.

I'm hoping we get a look at BisonKing in these scans as well, because that will just send me over the top. What I can make out is the tassels on its legs. How cool is that? I'm hoping it isn't sentient though. I mean the Bison can't be thrilled about StarNinger getting his power from some beef changer. I'm so happy right now.
