If they were to release more series they could do a poll and see what series people want the most. Although it would be pretty hard for people to pick which series they want quicker. Either way these releases are going to take years before the whole of Super Sentai is on DVD.

Well, Ohranger also was doomed through circumstance since its plot was darker than usual and had themes that didn't go over so well since 17 days after the premier was the infamous Aum Shinryko subway Sarin attacks. Which at the time went over as well as a Towering Inferno remake set to release on the August 31 weekend of 2001 in the US.

Hence why you have stuff like that scene of Ohranger Robo and Red Puncher playing basketball, they quickly had to revamp the show and make it a bit lighter, but even then it still didn't get many views as no one wanted to watch a show with Ohranger's premise. And they were SO low that if toy sales weren't good they were at serious risk of cancellation, IIRC.

And that's why we then got a comedic series about a gang of intergalactic reckless drivers coming to earth and our heroes fighting them with the POWER OF TRAFFIC SAFETY!!! Which in turn was MUCH more popular at the time since it didn't take itself seriously at all.

Pre-Zyuranger, I would love to have Goranger but I won't get my hopes up for it. It's a long show and would be pretty pricey given how many discs that they would need to make for all of the episodes. Not to mention license fees from both Toei and Ishimori Productions.

Well that and Carranger is just hands down a better written show.

And has a clear cut identity.

And drinks Wackozade from a clown shoe.

I missed out on picking up Zyuranger (is it still available?) But this, this I want soon as possible. The Ninja season was always a favorite of mine from MMPR and I'd love to see the original kakuranger to see where it comes from.

Also still surprises me that In MMPR it went Ninja Zords, Shogun Zords. And in Kakuranger it actually goes Shogun, Ninja, Alien Borgs.

This is promising. If we can make it up to Timeranger and maybe even Gokaiger it will be even better. :)

Actually the "Battle Borgs" show up before Kakure Dai Shogun. Kakure is the last mecha they get in the show.

As nice as that would be, I think the possible 2 a year situation is a good idea.
Though I would also be quite fine if they skipped everything from Oh to Bouken and just went straight to Gekiranger, so who knows...
