That's very weird. Unless the parents are feminists, I doubt they'll even have the discussion whether there's a female in a team or not.

I think it was because the other seasons had female team members. I guess they felt that Sun Vulcan wasn't inclusive enough.

Basically, Sentai is targeted to boys: Fact, but girls still watch it, and Toei should've known.

I don't think they were too bothered by it, since the show was still pretty popular.

IMO though, the least they could have done is not limit Misa's White Rose Mask persona to just a single episode.

sun vulcan was great fun its a show you don't really watch for the story just for the action and that's fine with me i absolutely love the opening theme to me at least its the best sentai theme song ever Akira Kushida is an absolute legend terrific voice i like the fact that its a trio instead of the usual 5 anything to change up the formulaic 5 sentai team also the costume design i really love especially the helmets and on the final note the commander in chief of sun Vulcan was in godzilla vs mechagodzilla as a pretty badass Interpol agent
