Utterly fantastic. I had my doubts but I'm SO pumped for this now.

I really liked the trailer.

I saw on You Tube comments, quite a lot of people bashed the creative team for using Kanye's Power as the trailer song, but actually it really worked; the lyrics, the beat and everything.

Loved the action scenes. CGI could refine a little bit. Especially the lighting on the Zords.

Some dialogues, I have to admit, are cringe-worthy. But some jokes really worked. "The Black Joke" worked well without it being offensive and I hope they keep it in the final cut.

Goldar... it's a mixed opinion from me. While I like the menacing nature, I couldn't help but notice how much he is similar to early concept arts of Cronos from Percy Jackson.

Overall, looks cool. Will definitely be there at the theater on the first day.

You didn't need to start anything in the first place. Thessir didn't attack anyone, if he doesn't like it that's his own business. You were the one who directly called him out.

You're right. I'll admit that. And I'm not sorry. But he's been rather heavy handed with his opinions in the past and it gets on my nerves that he can do it and anyone else that does it is just wrong.

In the first trailer, it seems Jason and his dad don't exactly get along. I can see having a bit of hesitation in rescuing my father (he's an ass) but would do it in the end because it's the right thing to do.

And it's even worse, because you couldn't ever say "I saved your ass, so lay off me!" in future encounters.

Yeah.....I can relartte to that. My family (as in my aunts and uncles) and I don't necessarily get along as it is, so I would be hesitant to save them as well. XD But in the end I'd do it because they're my mom's brothers and sisters.

Am I the only one here who does not like the suits but hopes the movie does well that we get part 2. Where in part 2 the green ranger and white ranger will have his story in the movie. And maybe the thunder zords as well hmmm.

You. I like you. :thumb: It's not just here, though. It's all over the fandom. Rangerboard, here, Facebook groups, even the ones that are TF and just figure collecting in general.

But, I know what the problem is.

People aren't getting that this is a completely new universe, separate from all that came before it. It merely uses the names and locations, nothing else. That's one of the reasons why it's so drastically different from the other stuff that came before.

There is room at the table for BOTH universes to exist side by side without affecting each other, going in different directions and doing different things.

Part of it is they can't let go and want everything catered to them and so they're throwing an entitlement hissy fit.

I'm so sick of the negativity. I don't want to see 90 minutes of badly dressed foreign actors throwing themselves around on wires while an oddly placed explosion goes off behind them because they "defeated" the badly suited villain in front of them.

Some enjoy that camp, I don't. I think it's utterly ridiculous and usually badly acted to make even Tommy Wiseau say "Wow. They SUCK."

*points to his username* See that? I'm a Transformers fan, first and foremost, and Power Rangers is the movie I want to see first before all others including The Last Knight. And TLK looks badass.
