In my opinion the Gear Dual is the device. It's an all in one package. XD

That's really cool. I wasn't sure if Kamen Rider would ever again have a rider in the main series transform without the collectible device.

Well, it does have the holster thing for activating finishers and whatnot. Wouldn't consider that a Driver or anything though.

It's kind of like the bracer for the Wasp Zecter or the buckle for the Bugvisor, but for some reason they don't want to treat it as a driver or part of a driver.

I think that it's because Bugsters are already video game elements and not human that they don't "need" a Gamer Driver. Graphite liked jamming his Bugvisor into his chest.

Just to clarify the whole thing with Nico failing to use the Gamer Driver, they did at least give us an explanation earlier on in the series that only those who underwent the compatibility surgery could use the driver. Everyone we've seen as a rider so far (Paradox excluded) has gotten the surgery one way or another.

We don't have any evidence suggesting she had that surgery, too. She most likely didn't even know that was required. So we basically saw what would happen if someone who wasn't prepped to use a gamer driver tried to use one.

As much as I long for more female Riders (c'mon, it's bizarre how few there have been), isn't the reality of it a simple "little boys won't buy girl toy"? If more little girls watched Kamen Rider, maybe that would change?
