I think it's hard to lock down a bunch of young, up-and-coming actors for more than three films. And I think that there's a generational aspect of Power Rangers that's baked into the franchise's DNA. I could absolutely see a "original rangers" trilogy followed by a "new class trilogy" that takes over when the "original" actors decide to move on.

Now, I'm not saying I think that's what will happen -- but I don't think it's an option that's totally inconceivable.
