The Power Rider trademark show up when Samurai was airing. Saban trying to adapt Decade made sense since they could use the footage from the Sentai crossover episode and Decade has Kuuga-Kiva. So they could have easily introduced those Riders to a new audience.

I don't know why people want a new American adaptations of Kamen Rider and Metal Heroes so badly? Given how the last Rider shows never turn out very well, I rather have a American Rider show with no Japanese footage being used. At least people will look at it as something else and not a cheap PR knock off. Same goes for Metal Heroes.

I wouldn't say there's a demand, but rather curiosity for those who want adaptations. If there's an adaptation of KR, I'm going to check it out because of curiosity. Though I'd love someone to tackle KR as a Netflix show or something

The only adaptation with a chance to not be outright mocked "looks like Power Rangers!" (exactly what a fellow co-worker said to me today - "I checked out Kamen Rider on Youtube - looks like Power Rangers!". At that point, it's over, nothing I say will change his mind) is Amazonz. It'd take all that violence to make a Western audience see beyond the Sentai similarities.

So, yeah - Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu.

That's non-evidence, evidence that I myself provided, albeit on a different website. All this says is that someone registered a trademark and never followed through with it, it doesn't prove it was really Saban who did so.

Also, excuse me for finding the whole thing fishy and not being content with people taking things at face value when there's a possibility that there might be more to the story than they realize. Furthermore, a crazy conspiracy theorist would try to push the issue as though there was a high chance of it being true when all I am doing is pointing out how fishy this looks, in fact the term conspiracy theorist isn't at all accurate as these people are more along the lines of what one would call "truthers". I am a legitimate conspiracy theorist, one who is open to all possible interpretations of a situation instead of being mindlessly obsessed with going against Occam's razor, there IS a difference.

Hoax or no hoax VR Troopers reboot I think could be fun based on the success of the Power Rangers reboot film. I think out of all the non-PR Saban tokusatsu adaptations VR Troopers was decent enough.
