Yeah, the 4 forms are pretty easy. Gararu, Bassha, & Dogga are simple retools, and that leaves an easy parts swap for the 3 merged form too from those retools. So then it's mostly Saga, Dark Kiva, Emperor and Ixa's 3. Which for Ixa, 2 are simple head swaps, and the third is a retool. But that'd likely be scattered over some time.

Though I expect Saga and the Merged form to likely be web exclusives. A possibility Saga, Dark, and all 4 (Merged and the trio) forms would be web. Depends on how they approach it, but it would be nice to maybe have them do some kind of 'build-a' system for the forms. Head, Torso, and arm/arms with the monster from each. Potentially could boost sales of Kiva's standard that way.

I would say that the other Kiva suits bar maybe the monsters would be inevitable, but we never got Diend or Decade Complete...

Too gimmicky for Tamashii Nations I'd say but hey, Ultraman X exists and includes swappable MonsArmor parts so never say never. Although swappable parts would only get you so far with Kiva, I don’t think making replaceable chest armor a thing would do the figure any favors.

And I don’t think the monsters are popular enough, even with included parts for Kiva.

I'd like to see them do what they can though, even if they have to release a new figure for each form. And you're right, probably Web-Exclusive for all of these guys, except maybe IXA, I can see that one at retail, sometimes they do that with secondary Riders, sometimes they don't.

All depends on what the consumer wants I guess. With Kiva it could be a thing since I expect the base form to sell like hotcakes, using the popularity of the "missing Rider" to spiral into line of Web-Exclusive releases could work out after that.

We will probably see IXA at retail and Garuru Form Kiva as a Web-Exclusive and if those do well they’ll make more.

The 'missing rider' aspect is why I don't think we'll see many forms -- most people wanting Kiva don't want him because they love Kiva. Maybe they do, but that's a side aspect -- most people are wanting him because he's the only main rider not yet done. That's the big draw, which suits like Emperor and Dark and Ixa don't have.

Getting people to buy Kiva in the first place is the important step, they will do so it if they want a complete Heisei-Rider lineup. That's why this marketing campaign is so good.

Now, once collectors have the figure in-hand and can appreciate it for how nice it is, it becomes much easier for Tamashii to market remolds. Like: "Hey I don’t like Kiva that much but this figure is great, I wouldn’t mind getting a blue one with a sword". Making them fall down the rabbit hole and all that ;)

Of course it will still heavily depend on Kiva's popularity as a whole but testing the waters is definitely something they should try, just releasing Garuru Form and seeing how well it does sales-wise seems like a smart thing to do.

Who knows how the popularity of Kiva has changed over the years? I never watched the show until recently and quite like it, many new Rider fans should have emerged over the last 10 years as well. I have no idea how popular shows or characters are in Japan, it just seems like a good business idea to try and sell Kiva now while the "missing Rider"-thing will be fresh in people’s minds.

I would take a renewal IXA/Dark Kiva/Emperor Kiva for sure, but please release Saga from purgatory above all else.

Was going to share the exact same sentiment. Saga for me has to be the next one after base Kiva.

Such a beautiful suit deserves some love.

Personally as long as Bandai gives us Kiva Kiva Form, IXA with both Burst and Save mode heads, Kiva Emperor, and Dark Kiva using shinkouchuu seihou templates and sold as regular releases I am fine. The rest can be exclusives.

They release Otoya in this specific suit as an exclusive because this was what he wore when he became Mighty Morphin Vampire Batman, and was his coolest moment yet in retrospect.

I would buy an Otoya, he's my favorite character so far and I could use the headsculpts for Grease and Grease Blizzard as well! :lol

@Topic: I'd definitely get IXA, love that suit. And honestly, if Kiva himself is good and if they make them, I’d be tempted to get his basic forms as well. Emperor and Dark Kiva too!
