Except for the fact that God Kouta clearly messed with the timeline doing what he did in the Gaim Two Parter.

The normal way it should have gone was Another Gaim being defeated and that's it. But thanks to God Kouta's interference and the two Sougo's running around, something has changed judging by Woz's reading of the book.

Plus you know he's willingly allying himself with the Time Jackers too when he was against them previously.

So I don't see how Gaim was wasted, he may have gotten little screen time, but Kouta did his job, and even more so than previous cameos have.

No follow up besides acting cool like kiva did in early decade or blade at the end of decade. Kouta human form should give his positive hero wisdom advice if god kouta doesn't do much besides sending out message about you need Geiz and you need to trust your friends. Zio have been doing that already and I don't think killing Anothrr Gaim will trap Geiz in there. The same with Baron. No explanation how he wears the same clothes for 5 years without consuming the fruits. He's pretty much there to outline the parallel between Geiz and him as a secondary rider . At the end of the day, silly murderous Geiz along with help my zio fught another rider of the week. The best episode is still this one since we're tire of horrible written cameos. Ghost was actually helpful and part of the story and I don't even like ghost as a series.

It's called an ongoing narrative, of course their not going to say what changed immediately. But you can tell things are already shifting, even if slightly with Woz's current allegiance.

Also the issue wasn't Geiz being trapped there, he would have been saved. What God Kouta wanted was for Geiz to be able to escape before Sougo defeated Another Gaim. And that's what Geiz did, he escaped before he was meant to like the original timeline was likely going to go.

Well, these are still just glorify cameo aka bad fan services and honestly, a bad Gaim tribute. The main trio and villain trio are very forgettable and underdeveloped. Even the silly web side episode on the net try to justify the lazy writing here. The amount of random toys like secondary riders, extra forms, and gadgets being shoe horn in is pretty annoying. I can't believe they went the safe route to rehash kyoryuger again for sentai. They need to hire a better writer next year.

It honestly does not feel like you are interested in actual discussion here from this or ypur previous posts on the subject, it has been 13 episodes, Build and Ex-Aid where also slow and filled with toys at the start, that is nothing new for the franchise.

So far Zi-O has been far better then many of us believed the show would be, and a lot of people are warming up to the characters even though none of them fully gripped people at the start like the previous two seasons did, but they clearly have an ongoing narrative going and things are still changing here and there, many of us suspect that the plot is going to focus more after the first major power up shows up but we still have to see.

I also disagree with using the word fan service as a negative, there is a difference between bad fan service and what they have been doing in most of the episodes so far, there are a few " eh, it was okay I guess " episodes here in the first 13, but still overall they have been doing a good job.

The season is has a theme about previous riders for Heisei, but your argument is that that just makes it a cameo/fan service with no meat to it which is flat out untrue. Build had web shows as well, but I did not see people constantly being negative about them, they are for the most part just the actors having a bit of fun for a short segment with some info and silliness, I fail to see why that is a negative or something the season should be given the stink eye for.

Edit: No one is saying you need to like the show mind you, if you do not like it that is fine, but I cannot say you have made many well arguments about it when you are talking with others here, and for the record yet again, I was one of the people very negative about this season before it even started airing and a few people here might recall that in the various news topics etc. I honestly warmed up to the show personally, I also like the villains so far, overall they are not doing that much compared to the early episodes from previous seasons, and clearly the intro has been miles better then Ghost as an example.
