I never realized how good the Kachidoki armor would look in green...I think this'll be the first Kamen Rider figure I pre-order in a long time. Haha.

Premium Bandai link, it's a Web-Exclusive release in December as mentioned on the frontpage, price is 6480¥ so nothing crazy thankfully.

Man this is so awesome. A fantastic new Zangetsu in Figuarts form - a new Gaim release... I'm so happy that this is a thing.

It's a shame he doesn't also come with his version of the DJ Gun in gun mode, but this is still awesome. Gonna have to see about how to pick this up on the aftermarket...

Hmmm...I just went through the P-Bandai website, and it seems like this guy comes with less stuff than the original SHF Kachidoki. I better think long and hard before coming to a decision about purchasing this.

The gun is probably missing because it isn't a thing in the stage show. Having to use practical effects with a cannon in a live performance sounds... suboptimal. Also, the gun cannot physically combine with the Musou Saber in the show; it’s done with special effects.

Based on that I wouldn’t be surprised if Zangetsu Kachidoki just has the combined sword from the start, which is why the gun won’t be included, it doesn’t exist in fiction.

True, though it'd still be awesome -- it looks great in green...

What I'm trying to work out is what the item description means by 'lockseed'. Does it mean it comes with an extra closed variant; or is it simply referring to the open lockseed on his belt?

Sure does. And I wouldn't be mad if they did include it and it wouldn't be used in the stage play, extra accessories are always welcome.

Anyways, pre-ordered mine, and although the wait will be long - knowing that I will get another figure to add to it makes me stare at my Gaim display even more now. Man these figures are great.

The closed one I assume, as most Gaim figures came with one, Gaim Kachidoki included. Could be either though.

This thing comes with less hands than the original Kachidoki. Only two replacement hands per wrist are included. You know, the usual norm for Figuarts these days.

Okay, just so we are clear, I am going to list down what the website says it comes with:
-Main body (duh!)
-Replacement wrist (two for each hand)
-Lockseed (I'm going to assume only one because it doesn't say 'opened and closed lockseed')
-Weapon (large sword mode)
