there's definitely going to be a thing going on between kureon and ui judging by the opening but i don't think its something you're supposed to take literally. what it says to me is that kureon is going to be using cell phones to make monsters

I'm agree with everyone here. And I'm glad that Kou isn't as annoying as I thought he would be.

Neither Beast Morphers, nor the Strongest Battle, nor Ryusoulger is giving me this break-out moment of "I'm so happy this is in my life right now!" feeling, but each one has some interesting moments and Ryusoulger is no exception.

The Masters and the "new" Ryusoulger are an interesting take on how team takes on new roles and in terms of introduction. I would like there to be more of a visual distinction between them besides the swords, cause outside of weapon choices, I'm not seeing a noticeable difference.

Nothing the Youtuber did made much sense to me until she met the team.

I think someone somewhere made some Gingaman comparisons, and I totally get that cause you did get that feel here.

The villains are an awkward bunch to be sure. Tankjo and the Dorun Soldiers echo a chess-like motif reminiscent of the Keeper Shadows from ToQger! If ToQger and Ryusoulger villains ever make their way into P.R., then that comparison should become more direct!

The mushroom-like Kureon does very little for me. The design feels somewhat out of place by comparison.

The way the Masters "die" was somewhat surprising as an onscreen death for a human isn't like it was back in the day!

For those seeing Ultraman similarities, I totally agree with you! KishiRyuOh VS. Minusaur is a virtual Ultraman ripoff from the word "Go"! That said, it's a visually impressive battle with obviously high production values! The Minusaur feels like an Ultraman reject, and I have to wonder if someone will threaten legal action against Toei, though that might be a stretch.

Green and Black already had power and fought a thus-far unnamed villain and destroyed him/her! Supremely awkward for a first episode, though it does tie into the Strongest Battle more.

Given the designs for KishiRyuOh and the RyuSouls, I feel like someone REALLY LIKES the live-action Transformer Movies! The echos between Ryusoulger and Age of Extinction / The Last Knight are hard to ignore.

The Ending Dance isn't even being subtle with the blatant Kyoryuger ripoff!

Hypothetical echo of Toei's (supposed) intent: "Hey kids, it's Kyoryuger Part Three! Remember, that third Dinosaur Sentai you all liked so much. Surely you remember. Kids like dinosaurs, right? Go and tell your parents to buy a lot of Ryusoulger toys!"

I'll give this a little longer before deciding further, but as we learned from the live-action Transformer Movies, semi-good visuals don't make-up for lack of dialogue, characterization, and overall story!

The first episode seems to be a self containing short movie.
Oh there's a teasing of green and black Ryusoulgers, but if you stop watching it now, it feels you're not missing much. There is simply no cliffhangers for next episode, like maybe a glint of evil in the old dude's eyes or something.
Nope, just roll call henshins and end episode 1.

Overall I love the mecha fight. It's just dynamic. The mecha gimmick is cool too. I love to mix and match my robots so it just clicks for me.

Also why is this Kyoryuger part three? I don't remember there's being a dinosaur themed sentai between this and Kyoryuger?

There's Kyoryuger Brave, a sequel. I think it was made because Korea goes fucking crazy about Kyoryuger

The opening really grow on me now and the visual really works well with the theme despite very similar to kyoryuger in tone, but more dramatic with mysteries. anyway, black looks huge for the suit actor compares to green. it's like zio is too short to be zio after transforming. Also, I wonder if asuna was guest starring in zio like gokaipink in w after getting her part after auditioning.

Don't speak too soon. His naive nature reminds me of Daigo with the hammer face. It's been a while since maybe goseiger or maybe zyuohger with a slapstick comedy relief supporting civilian character. Her dad going to be the big twist in the first arc if they're not pulling a zamigo. I could see a multiple factions series of villains depending if they're doing the gingaman like.

There's a lot here that I didn't enjoy quite as much as I wanted to due to the very odd pacing and non-existent flow, but I just wanna say one little thing right now.

I love Ui. I don't remember the last time I liked a Sentai side character as much as her. PLEASE let her be Ryusoul Gold
