All the rangers having the same access to so many different powers is what I'm looking for. Just seem like something most teams would want access to. Don't remember MMPR having access like that to so many different powers

Also going in order and resuming the 94 series on DVD. This will give me time to order up the rest after Magi.

Finished Car Ranger recently. I own all series that were released by Shout except Jet Man.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I kind of think the Zyuranger suits are really really ugly. Instead of coming up with an actual design, like most seasons, they just threw a bunch of white diamonds onto the suits. What do diamonds have to do with dinosaurs?

They don't really look like dinosaur teeth to me... If you told me the Gingaman suits were supposed to look like that, then I might believe it, but not Zyuranger. It just looks like a tacky pattern.

The actual Zyuranger suits likely obfuscate the intent, but it's more obvious on Daizyujin's chest! Interconnected diamonds and jagged shapes which form a more obvious teeth pattern.

One could argue that diamonds have a regal connotation, and most of the Zyuranger team are princes, a princess, or just a knight for a tribal kingdom.

I updated my Ranger library last night ordering up to Ryu and Lu Pat which I'll order after Friday.

I'm sort of curious to see the shows after Go Busters forward.

Due to COVID 19 it's impossible to get to the library to stream these shows so I bought the sets from another company. They are collector's items mostly to fill in the Ranger set.

That said it will likely take me 2024 to finish this run on DVD.

To Q looked really good having streamed the first one. Also Nin was looking solid having started it on stream.

Just getting back into Sentai. Tried a bunch of different ones before but gave up on all of them before the first arc ever finished.

But what somehow nabbed my attention was Kiramager. I freaking LOVE everything about it. They don't hold back with making it fun. I love how the mecha have personalities, how awkward & campy the cast can be & even the villain is interesting. I never cared about Sentai villains before, but Garza has my attention.

Despite Kiramager being tropy like most Ssntai I feel like they use tropes very well. So glad I can say I like a Sentai now.

I used to call Toqger "Sentai Sentai Sentaiger" for how very archetypal it was of Sentai and how it just got the franchise, and I think I'd apply the same now to Kiramager. Both are just really, really fun series that don't back away from being too silly but also know just the right amount of drama and intrigue to sprinkle in. So I have to agree, I'm having a great time with it!
