Firstly if it means anything, the only figuarts I've seen above 150 are SS wizard (who you already own), SS eternal, and SS kuuga ultimate I think? Most the most expensive are like 70 to 80 ish? I don't know this is from off glances while browsing manda, since I don't collect figuarts... yet (maybe one day if I have shelf space)


Also congrats on getting Fourze! He always seems to show up and disappear before any of my friends can buy him.

A lot of my Transformers display space is shifting over to Kamen Rider stuff. You may find yourself doing the same thing down the line. It's possible!

Yeah, Eternal is a disgusting amount of money, but he's hardly alone for Rider Figuarts. Agito and Kabuto are both in the $150 range, and there're a few recent figures that are stupid prices on the aftermarket. (Did Bandai only produce, like, 10 copies of that Horobi figure?!) Luckily, there plenty of sub-$100 Seihous out there, and a great amount of sub-$50 mainline figures from way back. It's been fun seeing how far I can make a buck go with this collection.

Neat! I got that Book 1 set when it came out, but I've only stickered up Saber so far. He's an amazing figure. Hope you have fun with them!

I think I prefer the Roidmude? It's more of what I think of when I think of that character. One-off movie forms don't usually stick with me.

I'm thinking of packing up my gunpla to open shelf space for more stuff. I'm particularly thinking this cause I haven't touched my gunpla in ages. I'm getting into rider a lot so shelf space for this stuff would be nice. I'm also thinking I could make like custom displays for gimmick items that don't have them. Also maybe displays for my SO-DO figs.

Also yes Horobi and Valkyerie are kind of incredibly hard to find and expensive to boot. I do hope you can get all the blade riders though since they're cool and not super expensive (totally not biased here since those are some fave suits).

I am enjoying the SO-DO saber stuff so far. I've only opened and stickered Base Saber, and Saber Dragon/3 Pigs of the saber figs, so far, but I did do all except the movie grunt of the included Zero One figures.

I have a Chalice on the way, and I'll probably grab the STRONGEST RIDER in March, since AmiAmi has one kicking around. Garren's the one I keep passing on, 'cause I don't want that giant bike! It's not even the price! The price is fine! It's an unwanted Red Rhombus! It is also completely in-character for a Garren purchase to be this frustrating!

Haha, I've always been kind of tempted by Garren not gonna lie. I really do love the bike design in Blade, so having all 4 riders on their bikes just feels really cool to me. (also it's said that the bikes feel so superfluous in Kamen Rider. Except Lazer cause he's cool)

Yeah, I can see why people think the bikes lately are superfluous, but I came in with Ex-Aid, and there are basically no bikes in it? It's a show where the bike is like I Would Rather Not Be A Bike Anymore, and that really colored my perception on the necessity of bikes.

But, yeah, back in the early Heisei days, the bikes were a little more integral. Hell, Blade even did a two-parter about an awesome new bike! I mean, it's the worst story, just utter dogshit, but they did it!

Not crazy about Monster suits right now. That may change down the line, but my collecting right now is about hero suits. (Not even doing villain Rider suits! Specifically picked the Dangerous Zombie suit from when he was on Team Ex-Aid!) I can see myself getting some of the more memorable Monster suits down the line, though. Nazca and Clay Doll, probably. The Hokuto Three Crows. Just not right now, I think.

For the larger casts, I'm mostly just sticking with core heroes for right now. (Excepting Ex-Aid, 'cause I love it too much.) Gaim is probably just going to be Gaim/Baron/Ryugen/Zangetsu, as SO-DO intended. Eventually I'll want Bravo and the rest, but not right away. Same thing with Ryuki: all Riders at some point, but probably just Ryuki/Knight/Zolda/maybe Ouja to start.

It's like... I think I'm collecting in these concentric circles, going from Mains to Mains+Secondaries to Mains+Secondaries+Villains to Mains+Secondaries+Villains+Upgrades and so on, just letting each circle fill up before moving onto the next.

Yeah sucks to be a bike in Kamen Rider *thinks of that time in build they ran somewhere and arrived to late because they forgot they had bikes*

I'm guessing you'd take, Gills, G3/G3-X (I have no idea which one you like better), Ryuki, Knight, Zolda, and Ouja(?), Kaixa, Delta, Leangle, Garren, Todoroki, Ibuki, Zanki, SS Kabuto, SS Gattack, Sasword, Drake, TheBee, Den-o, and *coughes* then SS Kiva, SS Ixa, SS Decade, and SS Diend, SS Birth (when that comes out), SS Beast, Ryugen, Zangetsu, Brave, Para-dx, Cross-z, Grease, and Rogue, Zi-o, Geiz, Woz, Zero-One, Vulcan, Valkyrie, Horobi, Jin or Jin Burning falcon and Blades?

I've not really charted out my purchases (I'm trying to be more instinctual about this? If I make a list I'm just going to buy everything as soon as I see it. No lists means I shop when I can afford to!) but that looks fairly close to what I'm expecting to grab. I've got Den-O, Kiva and Zero-One in a closet, ready to be opened down the line, and I've preordered a SS Zeronos. Agito will probably also need Another Agito, since that cast ain't too big, while Kabuto will probably save TheBee and Sasword for later. (Gatack, though, for sure, and the Hoppers if I can find non-busted Seihous.) Can't speak to the Zi-O/Zero-One/Saber stuff, but I imagine all of those ones you listed are good ones I'm going to want.

Also Nadeshiko, who I want real bad. Passed her up on AmiAmi, and now I'm kicking myself. I have this dumb rule with myself, where I won't buy any Secondaries without a corresponding Main. (That's why I'm empty on Kabuto and Agito guys right now.) So I let Nadeshiko get away, thinking she'd be as easy to grab as Meteor or non-Base States Fourzes. Nope! But I'm sure she'll surface again soon enough.
