That said, not excited to see what is, inevitably going to be people using it to dog on Ghost again for like no reason. I don't think anyone here has done it but I've definitely seen bits of it elsewhere.

What are the chances they throw a Kiramei Pink reference with Kanon.

Regarding this? Very high. Because early on when Kiramager was just announced people were surprised that Kanon of all people came back to the genre as the pink ranger. A similar example would be when I lost my mind after seeing Hidenori Tokuyama appear as Hiroto/Go-on Gold in Go-onger. A guest role of sorts that is common, but to come back as a tsuika senshi of a sentai show who wears a gold jumpsuit and pilots a mechanized helicopter/chicken hybrid after playing a elite-squad leader-turned emo edgelord two years prior. And considering Kiramager VS Ryusoulger is promoted these days might as well, right? :lolol

I guess Javel dressing up like Onari pretty much confirms no Onari for this crossover because Takayuki Yanagi who plays Onari has been out of Japan for a while focusing on modeling these days in New York it seems.

Jabel is wearing those robes since he succeeded Onari as the head monk of Daitenkuuji, while Onari started his own detective agency instead. This could explain why he's absent from this crossover, if he's busy investigating another mysterious phenomenon elsewhere. I wasn't aware that Yanagi had a modeling career though, that's interesting.

Yeah thankfully Jabel got promoted to like actual monk status around the time the Specter V-Cinema came out.

So even with them mentioning Onari returning to the temple from his detective gig at the end of Heisei Gen Final, we've still got a backup in Jabel.

IIRC, The reason Onari had that detective get up was mostly because the actor didn't want to shave his head again. A whole series yeah, but for like a minor part, not worth it.
Even Javel didn't shave his head, and he's now the head monk.

Yes, I was aware of him being a detective within the lore, regardless thank you for reminding me. :rock:
But I guess even if he had intentions to reprise his role I guess it would not be feasible given he is in New York full time it seems so just for a small one-shot crossover would be a lot of money spent, and with COVID making things complicated and risky to take a trip from one country to another.
