Apparantly where going to get the entiity of W on Toei Tokusatsu to celebrate Fuuto PI.

But it is not, in fact, Kamen Rider W anime. It is Fuuto, PI. The fact that Kamen Rider is nowhere in the title may very well be deliberate.

I hope that they'll transform, but maybe they won't? The title certainly would seem to suggest that maybe it's not a Kamen Rider show at all, just sharing a setting and characters.

It's an adaptation of the Fuuto, PI manga, which does have Kamen Rider Double show up. It even plays the memory noises in the trailer, just no transformed footage, presumably to build hype.

From what I've seen of the manga it's still effectively Kamen Rider Double with them transforming and fighting Dopants as frequently as they did in the show.

W's gonna show up, I don't get how that's debatable.

The PV literally ends with the transformation stand-by sounds. They're building up the reveal. Like with most anime trailers, this is essentially just the teaser. We'll get another closer to the air date that'll get more into what the premise of the story will be, we'll no doubt see W scenes, we'll hear what the OP sounds like, etc.

I'm just excited that we might get to see Fang/Trigger!

Everything looks great so far! As expected, the Memory of Heroez voices are taking the lead, which I'm perfectly happy with.

I see some people are worrying about the possibility of W himself being CG, though I'd like to believe W is simple enough to not need to be CG for more than possibly super-dynamic scenes. Though, so long as the CG isn't something like Ex-Arm levels of bad, I'll be fine.

Series begins August 1st.

The new theme song is composed by Kouji Kikkawa (Sokichi Narumi/Kamen Rider Skull). Mitsuru Matsuoka (Eternal) will perform.

It's good to know they've gotten some prominent singers from W to reprise for the anime. I'd love for the TV theme to pop up.

I'm ready to see some actual Kamen Riders...
