I have no idea why Planarian was genderswapped, but my own adaptation genderswapped George lol

They likely did the swap because the Phase 2 suit looks blatantly feminine (probably because it was designed as a female monster for its first appearance, sinc eI doubt the show wrote ahead enough to let them know the suit would return, used by a male in two episodes)

I picture KJ as a devoted Christian conflicted between good & evil, right & wrong. When gaining Holy Live or better yet... "Shining Diurne" he starts to feel unbalanced without traces of chaos & darkness in him. Unbalanced. Like he's a heretic in some way.
