This. Finally, someone said it. Truer words have never been spoken. Takahashi's decided to create a hyper-bloated, hyper-contrived story in Geats by putting as much random things into the internal logic of the story, whether by plot twists (or rather, asspulls), multiple instances of violation of internal logic, ad-hoc logic, idiot plots, blatant instances of manipulation, and other methods of contrivance and writing cheats available under the sun, and see how much he can get away with it. Takahashi's goal with Geats is to be remembered as the writer who create a story with the highest degree of plot contrivance.

I'm 1000% convinced that Takahashi can't tell the difference between a complex plot and a contrived plot. He probably thinks that a contrived story is a complex story. 49 episodes later he's proved to be very wrong, and his absurdly hyper-bloated, hyper-contrived story bites him in the hand. You can't complicate the internal logic of a story without it getting more and more absurd. Geats is what happened when the writers are drunk with their own bullshit.

His #1 priority is creating an absurdly hyper-bloated, hyper-contrived, hyper-manipulated plot, without regard to logical consistency, reasoning, or good ole common sense.

I've seen many fans get very nervous about the ending of Geats. Like what happened to Revice, fans can't help but think of the worst and the most absurd ending for Geats. So far, all signs point to you as the one who will have the last word.

I also thought that. I thought Revice was the peak of bad writing. Then Geats came along and Takahashi has proved me wrong. Geats has constantly proved that it has managed to exceed Revice's pure absurdity. I couldn't believe there will exist a Kamen Rider story worse than Revice, let alone right after it! If Revice is 10/100 from writing standpoint, then Geats is 9/100. Geats and Revice are the worst entries in the history of Kamen Rider. The most cynical part in me hopes that Gotchard will turn out to be as bad as Geats and Revice so that Kamen Rider fans may as well get a hat trick of three worst series in a row.

Oh, and Sueru is Gifu v2.0.

I'd like to pose several possibilities of manipulation that Takahashi will probably use in episode 48, 49, or V-Cinext episodes:
- Like I previously stated, Samas is intentionally kept as a loose end by Takahashi. She'll conveniently appear on episode 48 or 49 to backstab Sueru and take his Zillion Driver, like what she did to Niram, and then become the final villain of the series.
- Samas will be let loose, even after episode 49, and she'll become the main villain or side villain of V-Cinext episodes.
- Sueru will be revealed as Ace's doppelganger.
- Sueru will be revealed as Ace's dad.
- Or the combination of two previous points: Sueru will be revealed as Ace's dad who has an identical face as his.
- Girori is rumored to reappear on episode 48 or 49. He'll probably be the one who backstab Sueru, take his Zillion Driver, and become the final villain of the series. Samas will be let loose to become the villain of V-Cinext episodes.
- Black Tsumuri will backstab Sueru, take his Zillion Driver, become a new Rider and the final villain of the series. Or Sueru will simply give her a new Driver and or new Raise Buckle. Because, why not? Never let an absurd story go to waste.
- Geats IX will defeat Sueru. Then, as a last-ditch effort, Sueru will absorb Black Tsumuri and manage to overwhelm Geats IX. Then White Tsumuri will sacrifice herself (due to episode 48 is titled "Creation X: Tsumuri's Requiem!"), and through the power of friendship, manage to combine the happiness of all humans and Jyamato in the virtual worlds into a final-episode-exclusive Raise Buckle that is more powerful than Geats IX, and then Geats will use it to defeat Sueru once and for all.
- The scene where White Tsumuri's pointing her gun at Ace is a red herring. She's probably Black Tsumuri who disguises herself as the White one. Takahashi is desperate to incorporate a provocative scene in OP into the actual story, like what he did in Zero-One.
- The story will end on episode 48, and episode 49 will be an epilogue episode where Ace as God (with capital G) creates a new world (completely separated from the real world/Sueru's world) where humans and Jyamato live harmoniously. Or, Ace will create a whole new world as a habitat for Jyamato. Gotchard will probably make a cameo in this episode.
- And so on. You can put anything absurd into Geats because the premise of the story itself is absurdly absurd in the first place.

For preference, yeah, anyone can have varying tastes, and I do work on it like, insisting that a show being light or dark (of which it does seem that the dark ones are more appreciated by default) isn't what determines quality of the shows, would object to those that claim being light makes it bad or boring by default (and that the reason it might be bad can be something unrelated). I'd wish for something to be viewed more objectively though, such as actions (not about you but in general), primarily when villain's atrocities are downplayed due to not being done for evil's sake or such, though for opposite can be true of thrashing those who did something wrong on rare/few occassions (even when they show remorse over it). Being against moral relativism, like drawing the line at different places for different characters (or group, or show, etc.).

Honestly, though perhaps not in my younger days (or likely early time joining TokuNation - I can forgot), this'd be the reason why I can feel conflicted in evaluating the quality in something like series, plot, characters, etc..... felt wishy-washy deciding the quality in something. Thus I don't openly stating if something is good or bad or such, and can question regarding reaction differences to something that seems similar such as why dark show A isn't as well-received as dark show B by someone (I also did some in Die's watch threads such as "taking personal responsibility" guilt). I'd make an effort to appear neutral, as I don't want to be biased and unfair or, perhaps getting dismissed as invalid when I'd like/defend something atrocious in fanbase's eyes (and people like Die can openly state that he likes Kai from Den-O...) - It feel easier though IMO to work on smaller things like certain character/plotline rather than whole series. Though I evaluate quality faster in something I think is more straightforward like suit designs or fight choreographs.

This seems true that, JamaToru does seem to perform opposite things to Toru's goal of ruining a festival. But I wonder if Toru really becomes like that as a person, had he survived and continued to live, represented in his revived Jamato form (Michinaga also can dismiss him like how Neon's former fans dismiss her as a replacement). Though he does get a tragic death of being cruelly mistreated by 2 Riders, the moment corrupted him that he becomes the thing he hated, becoming only caring about getting back at the Riders like Michinaga (at least outwardly) does, related to his delinquent past of picking fight with others regressing to that.

Yes, watched it when little, remembered Mora playing with converted dolls including Z though I didn't get the MOTW's name.

As usual, outcomes shouldn't be used to elevate someone or their actions (the opposite of how heroes like Shinji shouldn't be judged by how they fail and screw things up, but only about them trying to improve the situation, or purified Medic healing Roidmudes, but Medic got heel turn later to mistreat even her own kind). It should be more known that someone opposing a bad guy and foiling their plan doesn't necessarily mean they're good guys, or reformed/redeemed in this case (of which if one is called anti-hero like you do for Kusaka, it does mean calling them a good guy) - of which describing it as a change of heart does mean reforming.

A bad guy opposing another bad guy also isn't always done because they draw a line (of which it was what I said regarding Niramu to Suel), yeah, it's pragmatism - pragmatic villainy, when a bad guy can end up doing something good or refusing to do something bad, only because it serves their interests. Like Evolt there, he's also fighting on the same side as the heroes against Killbus, but it's only because it'd be the end of him when Killbus wins. Said pragmatic motivation would mean that this is an example of something very DGP like what Takeshi did in your eyes eh, of saving people only to get points which you disregard, as in, talking about outcomes, Keiwa and Neon are still safe regardless.

Keiwa doing that is just him (after growing out of his cynicism) viewing the best in people or such - I don't necessarily agree with seeing the best in people move or such (of which you also didn't for Keiwa in ep. 13), that'd be not exactly a credible view of people, I'd support to not shy away from knowledge of the evils in the world, albeit at least he knows he was bad before (which Keiwa was too) unlike Beyond Generations, but giving him a second chance, but 2 previous Takahashi's series had the cast being rightfully mad to Kuroto (like Evolt above, not actually redeemed) and Gai.

I think that perhaps the memories can still relate to knowing joy because, the memories would involve getting their thoughts, like for example, Sara worrying about the kid's safety in Heaven and Hell, and thinking that she's relieved (can mean happiness) that he's safe? I'd think thoughts would be included in someone's memories, getting what's running on a caring person's head, like seeking to make other people safe and happy, their thoughts of guilt/pity when doing something to others or a tragedy that happens to others. Thoughts also can involve other things relating to joy like when someone worries about worst scenarios like not passing an exam or getting rejected from work, but they pass which, well there should be thoughts of them feeling relieved.

Personally, I don't believe in objectivity. My approach: imagine yourself in this situation and see who turns out to be a bastard.

But sometimes it needs to be done. It is foolish to judge Ace and Gentaro by the same criteria, because they have a disproportionately different level of life experience and what is a justified mistake for one is already a sign of stupidity for another. And speaking of younger characters, that's not even taking into account the effects of hormones. Teenagers cannot even be diagnosed with mental illness, because there is a high variation that it will disappear by the full maturation of the body.

Because people love, and love does not need logic. You can look for a reason, but sometimes it simply does not exist. People have emotions, and emotions are valid. This, by the way, is the reason why I didn?t like Ace?s phrase about hating actions, and not a person. You can hate people, animals, plants, objects, weather and even sensations. This is a negative emotion, but it is also important to experience it. And if hatred is ignored or suppressed, then it can never be controlled. It is important to be honest with yourself and then you will control your emotions, and not they control you.
