It appears I misunderstood the question. They asked for your favorite Toku moment of the year in the original post, so allow me to follow through on that:

The reveal from two companies that american collector's nostalgia for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers doesn't just matter, it's being completely relied upon to fuel not one, but two separate lines from two separate companies. Although we've yet to see the beginning of Bandai of America's collector orientated lines, the beginning of Tamashii Nation's products started off great with Daizyujin and looks to be continuing quite well with the MMPR Figuarts beginning to hit sometime in 2013.

OH! Favorite moment THIS year, well let me too adjust my answer.

That would be the Trailer coming out for Garo: Dragon of the Blue cry.
Ever since 2005 when I said "Whats this? Garo Ep. 1? Lets check that out. My Wife & I have been enjoying the Adventures of Kouga & Co. and Maki Senki was a great continuation. to see even further adventures be announced with an all new setting was certainly my best moment.

Aside from the announcement of the Complete Selection Double Driver, my favorite thing this year was definitely Gokaiger. It ended early in the year, yeah, but it went out with a bang. Not to mention all the Ranger Key sets that came out.

Your wife not only watchs toku but GOOD toku with you?! Some people have it so good.

My favorite memory would be when Narutaki showed up in Superhero Taisen and Tsukassa admits that he doesn't even understand what is up with him. That and I really hope the sequel contains an imagin sentai!

In terms of toku toys, I think my favorite moment was the night I found cheap Motion Revive Series figures on eBay thanks to the "Toku on Ebay Now!" section on the side of the page.

My favorite Toku moment of the year was Haruto getting ready to fight Phoenix using Flame Dragon. It was great to see him show such emotion when he was scared of losing the gate, and it was entertaining to see him reason with Dragon inside of him. All in all that leadup to Flame Dragon was amazing.

Kamen rider fourze cosmic states debut!!

Fourze was the best thing that happened for me since it was the first toku series my girlfriend liked since Shinkenger. This in turn made toy collecting easier this year! :D

Other than that, Wizard has (IMO) the best looking female cast members in quite some time.

For a specific moment, I would say Wizard's debut henshin was pretty impressive.

Best part was defiantly the fourze ending!

Of this year? I guess I have to say the return of Gavan, the original.

The final battle of Fourze. Straight up, one of the most heartwarming, tearjerking, badass moments in any show.

Gokaiger was great for team switching nostalgic goodness and Fourze for a fantastic story throughout. Love both their endings too but Fourze especially for doing something different with the main villain than just another punch-up.

From the past year my favorite thing has to have been Kamen Rider Fourze. Not since W have I enjoyed a Kamen Rider series as much. It was both light-hearted and complex at the same time. So much fun.

Man, that ending was simply epic. I had thought Fourze was already on the fast track to becoming my favorite Toku series ever, and the finale just sealed the deal. It was pretty tough work considering how few episodes they had to work with for the finale, but everything was done so well.

I think it was this year. I would say the Gokaiger special where Marvelous and Gai share a body and Gokai Change into every red for a single fight. That was beyond badass.

My favorite Toku moment of the year is Decade and Marvelous tricking Dai-Shocker and Dai-Zangyack into thinking they were getting rid of the Sentai teams and Riders.

I loved that Power Rangers Samurai Halloween ep where the Nighloks in hell were talking about how the Power Rangers killed them.

My favorite Toku moment of this year: Gokaiger. It was my first Super Sentai Series to watch and it was memorable. The added factor of seeing past Power Ranger suits brought some nostalgia and childhood memories, as well as expose me to Sentai prior to Zyuranger. I must say the final battle against Ackdos Gil and Basco were epic in my book. Here's to hoping 2013 brings on a good series to accompany Kamen Rider Wizard to my toku experience.

Just Gokaiger in general. I love the whole concept, and it's the only series I have watched all the way through. The movie with Gavan in it was great too!

I'd have to say the best moment is finding out this sit existed, due to the contest being cross posted to tfw2005, the Transformer fan site. I love giant monsters ndrobots, so ill be sure to check around here now.

Sort of feels like finding a secret level in Super Mario World as a kid. It was there all along... :)

Best moment is probably Akibaranger even existing and going in the direction that it did.

If I had to cite a specific episode I'd be tied between the first Alpaca one and the last one, where they're doing all they can to keep the show on the air but to no avail.

First time Wizard used the 'big' ring. That was pretty cool.

I haven't been marathoning Toku like last year, so to be honest I haven't been watching it as much. I was watching Fourze, stopped, and then one day everything was talking about it, the BIG REVEAL as people who have watched it know of... It pales in comparison to a lot of the other things, but it was cool to be excited about Toku again.

Also I guess finishing OOO was memorable for me. It was the first thing I did in 2012 actually. After the ball dropped I finished OOO, it was fun. :)

my favorite toku moment was learning about the origins of Power Rangers, Beetleborgs, VR Troopers, Masked Rider, SSSS and others in my early twenties and delving into the original shows through BitTorrent and wikis. hearing some of the original sentai themes by MoJo, like the Dynaman and Goggle V themes were a real treat as well! long live tokusatsu!

Not sure if this counts, but I'm going to post it anyways. For me, it was joining this site, which has allowed me to get back into Power Rangers, and learn things I never knew about the show I loved as a kid. I'm not very active here, yet, but it's been pretty fun so far. Definitely looking forward to all the PR 20th Anniversary stuff this coming year.

My favorite moment of the year is in akibaranger. When Akagi transforms into akiba red in the real world for the first time! It was just a great moment that calls to mind a lot of great super robot shows like gurren lagann or gunbuster.

I hate to jump on the bandwagon here, but seeing Akibaranger. When I saw Akiba Reddo for the first time I thought it was a legit sentai design and LOVED it. Whilst I now recognize the parody, that it is, I still think the design is brilliant!

Hey all, I've just begun to dip my toe in the 2012 Toku stuff, so I haven't gotten too far into any of them. But seeing KR Wizard for the very first time in the first ep., eating a doughnut on top of a streetlight with Garuda was an awesome introduction to the character!

I have been thinking it through and I've been able to narrow it down to 2. First would go to Akibaranger.. the episode where they get drunk was amazing! really made the show stand out to be because of what they did with that episode.

Second would be the Moment in Gokaiger when Gai changed into DragonRanger and then marvelous still as Gokaired, gets the shield from him as he is changing into TyrannoRanger! so epic! i squeeled a little hahah

Most memorable moment(s) for me would have to come down to that last scene in gokaiger where we get to see akared walking away in approval of the gokaigers. Or in KR Wizard when we see his dragon phantom for the first time... Or most of GARO.... or that last sacrifice by Sagittarius at the end of fourze. I can't lie, I teared up a little bit on that one.

It was a big year for toku though.

My favorite moment is thinking I'll never like a Kamen rider series(I've never watched any of them) only to get hooked on wizard.
Oh and absolutely loving Gokaiger, then hating Go-Busters.

There is so much moments I love! But, here are my top favorite: In Power Rangers SS, one of my favorite moments was when Mia used Shotgun mode for the first time. Calling the power of the ancestors!! Pretty epic!! My second was in Gobuster, where Usada Lettuce gets kidnapped by enter and at the very end if the episode when he is saved touched my heart. Yoko is sure lucky to have a buddyroid like him. Also another moment in Gobusters is when they to the other dimension and hear their parents and realize what they have to do. I hope all you people here in the forum had a good year. I'm newe here since arounonth ago. Oh I almost forgot, one other moment was in comic con where the new Godzilla movie teaser was shown and the poster!!!

here goes.... My favorite Toku- moment is when Akagi from AkibaRanger Transforms in the real world. That actually gave me goosebumps.

Enjoying the site so far, only just really getting into Kamen Rider as far as watching/collecting goes, I always enjoyed seeing people like Vangelus or TJ Omega review figuarts though.

Not many memories or moments for me to pick from, but getting to kick back with my girlfriend to watch Kamen Rider Wizard has been absolutely awesome for me. If it needs to be an actual in-show moment, then the first time Wizard gave a rider kick with his dragon turned into a giant foot. We both laughed so hard.
