Is KITsubs (or anybody else, you never know) still working on the original Kamen Rider? The first post says active, but their site said the most recent upload was from January.

I don't even know anymore. Jeeg keeps getting pulled away to work on the current series with Over-Time and all of KIT's work goes through him. Every time they come back with a new episode they promise more releases soon, then it's 4-6 months before anything else gets posted.

The original show is so long. I still bet that it won't be finished by 2020.

Not at the current one-episode-a-year rate, that's for sure.

That's such a shame. I decided to get into Rider through the very first series, and have been really enjoying it so far. I was hoping to be able to watch it through, and then be able to go onto V3 next, but I doubt that'll happen :\

Watching through the Showa series is really tough right now. Super-1, X and Skyrider arent completely subbed yet unless you count the awful HK subs.

Yeah, I know that they're not all subbed. I really wish I could just watch through every showa series in order (since from what I can tell, they build off each other) but I'm most interested in the original, V3, Amazon, Black, and maybe Stronger, so at least I can watch the ones that appeal to me.

Has the "All Together! Seven Kamen Riders!!" special been subbed by any groups?

Not that I know of, no. I don't even know if there's an available raw of it.

Well, for the sake of it being available, that's...good.

By the time I caught up to the available subbed episodes I was completely sick of the show. Maybe I'll be able to deal with it more if they're released this infrequently, though.

It looked more feasible a few years ago when they were releasing episodes biweekly instead of annually.

I wish people would sub more of the older Kamen Riders besides KITSubs. I want better subs of X and Super-1. I wish the original series would get finished too.

So, the DDL links posted on Over-Time's blog for Drive don't work, and KRDL only has Over-Time up to episode 21. Anybody else have any ideas of where I could find a DDL of their subs?

EDIT: The site is back up but, according to the home page, the site is closing in October. He's willing to help someone else take it one. I'd love to, but I simply don't have the know how to run much beyond simple PHP (required: a server and knowledge of SQL, PHP, NGINX, Python and CentOS (or any RHEL based OS).

Updated with info on Ex-Aid. Over-Time is passing so for now it looks like the options are TVN and new group Excite Subs.

The Masked Subbers is a group formed expressly to finish Kamen Rider X. They're starting with the first episode after the old Order of Zeronos subs left off and are already up to episode 11. Will definitely be keeping an eye on this project.

Kamen Rider Super-1 has been fully subbed by new fansub group XIG. Torrent can be found on nyaa.

I just saw the Super-1 Subs, I'm going to look into them but I can't wait to watch with good subs, and actually know what the villains are saying! HK Subs are a bitch.

Also great to hear about X as well. Those two are two of my favorite Showa Series.

If KITsubs resurrects and actually manages to make progress on their series that'll pretty much be it for the Showa era. What a time to be alive.

I think I just found something interesting. Looks like this kind fellow got ahold of KITsubs' scripts and finished subbing Skyrider with them. Nice.

Meaning the last remaining series to be subbed (provided TMS delivers) will be the original. How ironic.

That's the guy with the impressive Kamen Rider Archive (he also has a Garo archive). Seems pretty driven to get it complete!

Dang. Skyrider and Super-1 completed in 24 hours. Nice. That's a lot of Showa to catch up on. :D

Stronger was completed a couple years ago and V3 has been officially licensed for ages. X and the original series are the only two without full subs now, but there is a group that's actively working on X.

And, I swear I read that KITsubs was going to pick back up on Kamen Rider '71.

I still don't see how Hawaii only counts for V3, but whatever, I forgot about it.

I'll have to look for Stronger.

I'm not getting anything saying what I downloaded was episode 34 or 45, or whatever though.

Blast it, my next series I want to watch is between Skyrider or a rewatch of Super-1, now with SkyRider being finished this was going to be even more difficult. That I don't have to watch HK Subs is the best part.

I don't know what to tell you then, because the files downloaded as "01 Title, 02 Title etc." for me.

Okay, yes, it has 01, but I'm not finding any episode 34.
