I've been looking at the Itashar as a potential purchase, but I get the feeling I'd maybe transform it once and then keep it in car mode after that or something. Kind of like what I did with my Transformers Human Alliance toys.

It's a really nice piece with decent amount of metal in it too. Clocked in at a little over a pound and two ounces. A beast compared to something like Machine Winger, which only weighs 2.8 ounces. There's even texture to the "padding" on the seat. There's only one modification that needs to be done and it would feel like a Figuarts release; change the clamps that connect to the rider's belt to ones that are compatible.

I put the Laucher on my Strike Gundam and I was planning on converting my Strike Dagger to a flight type but the backpack doesn't want to come off. I have seen pictures online of people doing it though. Just have to figure out a safe way.

I also didn't know it came with this extra sword that is way way too big lol.

The extra big sword is so you can do a forced perspective pose like the Sword Strike on the box is doing.

And hving just gotten Aile Strike myself, I really need to start hunting down that set (as well as Buster Gundam). Though I do wish it had come witha sky grasper or a phase shift down Strike or something to make it more worth the price.

That's just the anti-ship sword from the sword striker pack. Per the name it's to cut ships in half. If only there were rd scaled ships.....

I think I want to get a couple more RD Strike Daggers, since somebody gave me an incomplete Perfect Strike for free, I could setup Strike Daggers with the three variations from him.

I'm also still super tempted to get two more Strikes and the Launcher/Sword set to have all three Strike variations. Because I am a sucker. Don't know if I actually will, but I want to.

I agree. The Gaburevolver and Mobirates are the two best Transformation Devices that Sentai's had. Fun toys and awesome collecting gimmicks.

Nice haul, I'm always tempted to pick up role play items, but I think that's where the missus would draw a line. Again, awesome purchase.

About £110 but it may of been a chinese knock off. The qaulity doesn't feel Cheap but there are some bits that feel fragile. But he's going on my display case anyway so I don't think I need to worry if I only display him and don't play with it.

If it came carded or in one giant box (often labeled Jet Garuda instead of Great Icarus) in its combined jet mode, then those are the common bootleg versions.

Decade and Diend complete are such TERRIBLE designs. But I still want them.

I guess Meteor Fusion States isn't any better of a design, and I really want that one too.

IMO the knock off looks pretty good for the price. I was seriously considering getting one before I went nuts and found paperwork-less Jet Icarus & Garuda on YAJ.

Gotta love con pricing. Roger was ¥3500 from Mandarake. The box had some minor wear, but nothing to write home about. I actually splurged and had them shipped DHL since it was from the Nakano store. In the end, it turned out to be around ¥4300 with it's share of the shipping. $43.75 using today's conversion rate. Sorry for being long winded.

Mandarake pricing is the great destroyer of Western "because it is imported it must be rare!" markups.
Now only if I could get items from Yahoo Auctions Japan without middleman costs and paying double shipping. There are some insane deals to be had there.

Yeah, a Sky Striker would have been nice. I use the MSIA one as a stand in. Buster is pretty nice. I think HLJ has them for $30 right now but I got mine on sale for Black Friday at 20-something. They had Striker Daggers at $15 then and I should have bought more than one.



You mean it was actually in the show? I haven't seen Seed in a while but I don't remember it. I thought the Sword Striker Pack had just one sword. I mean, the thing is bigger than the suit itself so it wouldn't even attach.
