True Detective episode 2. Just as good as last weeks episode.

Man.. You guys all watch such awesome shows XD I'm hooked on Taboo, Haunted History, Bad Ink and Face Off. I have a friend who's trying pretty hard to get me into Game Of Thrones and that new sleepy hollow show, but I'm one of those people who avoid watching series that have been on for a certain amount of time. Too much pressure to catch up!

That's why I've never started on Doctor Who.

I tried Doctor Who ^^; I really did! There was just something about it that made it impossible for me to pay attention.

I only ever watched a Christmas special. :lol

Ashley Banjo's Dance thing. It has my town on it! And the guy that runs the Doctor Who shop!

They're doing a pilot for Flash starring the guy from Arrow. Not sure if it's already received a series commitment, but barring any disasters it's pretty much a lock for next season.

So far, I think they've cast Barry, Iris West, and her father.

I just marathoned the hell out of Breaking Bad, only to learn Netflix doesn't have the second half of season 5. That is not cool at all. >_<

I'm watching Wife Swap. Yes, the member who watches the insane sleaze/sex/gore films watches Wife Swap.

Is there even a difference between gory smut and network reality TV? Because I don't think I could differentiate between Celebrity Big Brother and a Snuff film. :lol

There is. Gore smut is more realistic and entertaining :lol

And I'm all caught up with what Netflix had... now to find the rest somewhere online, likely of rather poor quality given I still won't torrent...

Currently? I'm watching the Bulls spend another season and more of my damn time disappointing me.

I have a confession to make: I love New Girl. I started the first season today, and I've only watched the first four episodes, but I love it. It's one of the funniest TV shows I have watched, and I love it. I kept telling myself that this would be the last episode for the day, and I watched four instead of the intended one.

I'm 10 episodes into New Girl, and I'm considering incorporating a Douchebag Jar into my room.

Those need to be incorporated into everyday life! :lol

I can't stop watching New Girl. It's been five days, and I'm already five or six episodes into the second season. Every time I begin an episode, I swear it's the last one. Then, I finish an episode, and I say, "Just... one more." I swear, this show has an addictive substance in it.

I'm watching The Chew.

I just finished the first two seasons of New Girl. This is the fastest I have been in finishing a series on Netflix.

Now I just need to find the already-aired episodes of Season 3.

Supernatural is doing a Slenderman episode. o_O

Cool. Makes me wish I saw more than one episode of that show.

All caught up on True Detective.

It's slow as all fuck, but when the only TV you watch is toku shows, the filmic quality to the production and the stunning acting of True Detective just makes it so watchable.

Seriously? That's quite unexpected.

I've been mostly indifferent to Agents of SHIELD, but the last couple of episodes have picked up a bit. The Triskelion reference last week and Sif/Lorelei/Asgard this week felt less forced than some of the other movie tie-ins that have popped up. (I'm wondering if the missing Fury thing relates to Winter Soldier as well.)

Also, Sif! :swoon: I'm ready for my Sif standalone movie, TV series, Hot Toys figure, dreamy locker poster, etc. :D

Edit: I'm not saying the show has gotten great, merely better than it was.

Just finished the True Detective season finale. The perfect end to the perfect show? Not even close. True Detective is another overhyped series, flying way above its station on the hype train. But did I get to the end a blubbering mess? You're damn right I did. And that has to count for something.

I now have the desire for there to be a Hype Ressha in ToQger.
Though, there's already the Hyper Ressha, if you mangle the pronunciation a bit...

Been catching up on the second season of Black Mirror, it feels more novel and gimmick driven than the first season but still pretty great.

I'm getting ready to watch the fifth episode of Power Rangers Super Megaforce :D

In terms of following shows, I keep up on How I Met Your Mother and Comic Book Men. Right now i'm watching Friends

All done with Black Mirror season 2, a season that got really quite dramatically worse with every episode.

So, my sister was watching Pretty Little Liars, and I'm in the same room, of course. :I So, they marketed this episode as "We FINALLY reveal who A (the main villain) is this time, we swear!" and what do they do instead? (potentially) Kill off the one character who knows their identity, and NOT reveal who A is. I swear, this show manages to tick me off every time I see it.

Really? I heard that show went down the tubes. Did the writers just say "Eh, forget it! Why not? We've got nothing else to lose."

They do that every season. ABC Family has the most bullshit and manipulative advertising for their dramas I have ever seen for television shows.

Doesn't help that the shows are pretty shite as well. The only one I ever really liked was Lincoln Heights.

So I've seen. Their comedies aren't usually too bad, though. Melissa and Joey can be pretty funny sometimes.

Depends on who you're asking :lol

Of course, comedy is subjective, after all.

Baby Daddy isn't as funny, though. I'm not a fan of that show.

Supernatural SUCKS. Like the fandom generally is too busy writing slash fiction to notice, but it's a show that embodies the mentality of "we don't care". Like I get it's the story of two brothers first and foremost, but the first four or so seasons were as much about building a rich world and mythology as they were the two brothers and it was really, really great.

Between season five, through to eight (where I dropped the show) though, they just completely tear it down, not on purpose nor for a greater reason, they just seem to forget their ENTIRE continuity and for someone watching, like me, who pays attention to all the little details the constant contradictions, stuff they seem to forget or the amount of times the show is just flat out wrong, I gave up in the end.

Actually, the Slenderman episode was fairly well handled. They pay homage to the fact it's an internet generated thing that way too many people buy into.

So, in the new episode of New Girl, Nick and Jess break up.
