Got a box from Jungle and a box from Mandarake in today and wouldn't you know it, it was both of the orders I messed up! I meant to drop the Kohana/Naomi set in favor of something else (Cyclone/Joker, I think at the time) and did it wrong way 'round. Also, I ended up with two S1 Akiba Reds, which is fine because I could use the extra stands for my S2 figs.

Having started collecting at the end of July, I just about passed out when I counted tonight. 17 SHF purchases, including Machine Decader, the Power Dizer, and Itasha Robo, not counting what's still in the mail. I think I need an intervention.

Yes sir. Fury Diamond said to ask about custom card sets, so I did. Got everything I needed from set 3. Minus the 2 greens from the starter deck. I want to figure out a way to apply stickers or something over "Dai Shi" and "Camille" that say "Rio" and "Mele"

I just picked up a Super Best OOO's Driver along with the Sagozo, Shauta and Putotyra medals (I blame you people on Tokunation for this) and something for my brothers birthday who definetely is a member of this site so I dont want him knowing what it is. Yesterday I picked up the last MP Soundwave from my local Toys'R'Us but thats going away for my Birthday.

I already pawned that one off on a friend of mine, sorry. But I checked my outstanding orders and I guess I went berserk on Akiba Reds and I have another one coming. If your friend wants that one, I'll be happy to send it out when it arrives.

Shipping related question for the experts:

I know SAL shipping can take some time, but I've got a package from Mandarake that has been in the status of Origin Post is Preparing Shipment for almost three weeks. I've actually gotten two Mandarake orders in since I placed that one. Do SAL tracking statuses sometimes fail to get updated or can I presume that the Japanese postal service doesn't even have the package in hand yet for some reason?

Edit: Also, I wasn't sure exactly where to ask this so my apologies if it's in the wrong thread.

Does that one have the stands too? How much? I guess you could answer this via PM.

I want/need both of those. We haven't gotten that deck in at work yet.

I'll send a PM on the Akiba Red. As for the package, I didn't think to check the JP Post, although I should know better than to trust the USPS. Despite no status change on the USPS site, JP Post shows it hit customs last week. Thanks! I'm much more at ease about it now.

Lunatic was nice. Probably 2nd or 3rd favorite design (Not sure whether I'd rank the titular Tiger above him or not).

My top 5 favorite characters are Lunatic, Barnaby (I cosplayed as him yesterday), Blue Rose, Sky High, and Fire Emblem.

From a character standpoint, I'd probably rate it as Wild Tiger, Fire Emblem, Lunatic, Barnaby, and Kaede.

From a strictly design standpoint, it's Sky High, Wild Tiger, Lunatic, Dragon Kid, and Blue Rose.

At TRU, picked up Bandai King Seesar (regular size), and chibi Goji, King Ghidorah, and Gigan. Also picked up the large size Final Wars Goji for my brother.

On eBay, I won THE Chogokin figures (which are the scaled down reissues of the original Chogokins) of Raideen and Combattler V, AKA the Shogun Warriors Raydeen and Combatra (see my podcast). I also got Yokai Monsters: 100 Monsters on DVD. (The second of the Yokai Monsters movies).

Hazah! Glad that stuff finally made it your way. Your post shows how out of touch I am with 3rd party TF's though, didn't even know there was an exclusive repaint of Code. Still jelly of the Faiz too.

Virus is SOOOOOO much better looking that Code. Code is apparently really accurate to the G1 toy it is emulating, but if so, that thing was fucking ugly. Virus is such a lovely combination of black, gray and red, it was totally worth the $30 extra it cost me over Code. Plus, I'm selling that ugly brown turd.

Now, if only I had a room to setup my neat new toys and statue in. :( The carpet people we are having to the work, which is I think a smaller shop, said they replaced carpet in 27 houses last week. They couldn't tell us when they will get to us, but it should only cost us around $400, so that's not as terrible as it could be.
