Wow Eric is such a douchebag in his introduction in Time Force, I hope to god he gets better.

It's because Eric knows that Wes still has everything. Wes's father loves him too much to truly abandon him, and while he didn't chase him down the streets, he ultimately still has somewhere he can always return to. And that somewhere is filled with millions.

I feel he does.

I've been watching the original MMPR for old times sake and am at the point in Season 2 where Tommy has lost his Green Ranger powers permanently and left.

It seems RIGHT after the episode where this happens is where the actors for Jason, Trini, and Zack were obviously not on set as much before the firing/quitting thing that happened. Lots of parts where you only see Billy and Kimberly out of costume and when the characters are ALL in costume...

Wow. You can so tell Saban got some bad impersonators for them. Trini's impersonator in particular sounds borderline racist with stereotypical accent.

Time Force Episodes 16-19: Loving it a lot right now, and these episodes made me love Lucas even more (My favorite.) Trip more (He's awesome.) and everyone else, except for Eric so far. Though I can see why people really enjoy this show now. I'm still watching so hopefully Eric gets better, and can't wait to see more of the Time Force team kick ass.

Episodes 20, 22, 24, & 25: Even more great stuff! Skipped a few episodes but still these were fantastic. Eric's kind of meh still, but the Lucas episode was fantastic with him convincing Dash that he was wrong, and The Movie Madness two-parter are some of my favorite episodes of Power Rangers ever! So hilarious, and awesome.

The core team are so awesome I am loving them.

I have started to rewatch MMPR to Super Megaforce for reasons I will expain later. Mostly to do my own legacy of power review on each season.

I am up to 9 on MMPR S1 now. It is chessy as hell and predictable, but it is good right now.

Anyway, this three-parter marks the first time that the Thunder Rangers fight the Wind Rangers. Their reason? They believe that the guinea pig killed their parents. After stealing the Tsunami Cycles, the Thunder Rangers kick the Wind Ranger's asses time and time again. They then use another piece of stolen technology: The Beetleborg's very own megazord! *get's booed off the stage* Actually, it is called the Thunder Megazord.

The Thunder Rangers kidnap Cam's father and are about to kill him when their parents's ghost's show up and tell them that Lothor actually killed them. The Thunder Rangers leave to go on their own journey.

I give this three-parter 7 Badass Thunder Rangers out of 10.

PRSMF Ep14- The Road to Corinth
Not a bad episode, but, apart from Corinth and the legendary morph, there are 0 links to RPM. And the Turbo Falcon Zord is kinda strange, but it makes sense how they explain it. The villains are actually really entertaining, considering how generally boring the rest of the episode was. It gets a 5/10.

Just got done watching Vrak is Back part 2. Hands down the best episodes of Super Megaforce that have aired in English so far, its just a massive shame that they're so poorly placed.

:lol There are a lot of stag and kabuto beetle combos in toku, aren't there? The Thunder Rangers, Blue Beet and Black Beet, Kabuto and Gattack, Buster Beet and Stag...

The Rangers meet a "monster" named Tyzonn. This monster doesn't like destruction and doesn't want to fight the Rangers. Mack learns that Tyzonn is actually a person from Mercury. Tyzonn teams up with the Rangers and they gain the second jewel of the Carona Aurora. At the end of the episode, Tyzonn is turned back into his non-monster form.

I'm surprised.... I wasn't sure what to expect from this. This two parter is actually pretty good. *braces for the attacks from angry fans*

I give this two parter 7.5 Lavadactyls out of 10.

Lost and Found in Translation.

Such a bizzare romp. Bad dubbing (especially intentional ones) are always fun though. And Japanese men that sound like Leprechauns. :lol

Power Rangers Turbo:

I am glad I took the time to watch through this season the past few days. After Ego David Frank and the other three left, the show got better and better with each episode. My favorite episode was The Power Transfer, which brought us TJ, Carlos, Cassie, and Ashley. The Phantom Ranger story arc was interesting.

I HATED Elgar, Rygog, and Porto. They are those monsters that make you wish they randomly exploded when they were first introduced and never heard of again. The Carranger footage of them didn't help it, either. In fact it made me hate them more. This makes the Z-Wave (which wipped out every villain except Zedd, Rita, Divatox, and Astronema) even more satisfying.

The story arc with the Thunder Brothers was one of the best story arcs of the season. I wish the Thunder Rangers had stayed evil longer.

Three of my favorite episodes from this season are I Love Lothor, Sensei Switcharoo, and The Wild Wipeout.

I wish a Wild Force/ Ninja Storm team up had occured. This season was the first since Lost Galaxy to not feature a team up.

And remember:

I've re-watched the first episode of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Eventually I'll get to more of it but I really want to watch the one where Tommy is a professor. He wasn't my favorite ranger but I was happy that they brought him back in the later season.

Rewatched the Green with Evil Saga and man this really didnt need to be five episodes. The Storyline is so incredibly stretched out it really hurts. You could have easily have done all of this in three maybe two episodes.

For MMPR those are some of the better episodes and even then they really are not all that good. Not just that Rita only now comes up with the plan of an evil ranger its all the Tommy stuff thats painful to watch. Its so incredibly obvious that he was the green ranger. He is acting like a giant dick from one day to the other and is not that good at hiding that there is something up with him.
The introduction of Scorpina was also random since she doesnt serve a purpose in the story. Rita just lets her show up all of a sudden. Just like with the Green Ranger Coin I question why she never used her sooner.
The editing is also really poorly done but hey its MMPR and they were never good at splicing the sentai footage with the rest.

I also didnt like that every problem the rangers faced was resolved far too quickly. We cant morph? Just connect two wires a minute later and now we can. There were some other instances like that and that really bugged me.
The Dark Sword or what it was called was also pretty useless. It shot some lightning and that was it. It was never intrical to the plot and was destroyed at the end of the storyline.

The "rivalry" between Jason and Tommy was pretty poorly done as well. Tommy turns evil and he suddenly is after Jason without any explanation why. Yeah its because the sentai footage demands it but there was never even a sentence as to why he was constantly after the red ranger and not so much the others.

And yeah the resolution to the Arc was pretty weak too. They punch him, destroy the sword, give him "the talk" and now they are best friends. I never like endings like that and it just feels far too easy and a bit lazy.

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Season 1: Episodes 1 - 10

So...... Not really much happened here. It's just Rita sends down a monster, Rangers fight monster, Monster defeats Rangers, Rangers get a new thing, Rangers destroy monster, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V. Luckily, most of the episodes within the first 10 are used to develop the characters more. Most of the time, however, it's just the Rangers learning an important lesson.

In Day of the Dumpster, we are introduced to most of the main characters in this season:
Jason - the Red Ranger
Billy - the Blue Ranger
Kimberly - the Pink Ranger
Zack - the, erm, Black Ranger
Trini - the..... Alright, who the hell was in charge of casting for these Rangers?!?

Really, I'd like to know who is responsible for making the Black Ranger an African-American and the Yellow Ranger Asian.

We also meet Zordon and Alpha 5, the mentors for this season, and Bulk and Skull, the comic relief for this season.

And then there are the badly-dubbed over Zyuranger villains.
Rita Repulsa is the main villain of this season. Her minions as of Episode 10 are:
Squatt
Baboo
Goldar (my personal favorite)
and Finster.

Something that I have noticed with most of the MotD (Monsters of the Day) is that most of them don't really say anything...... at all. Just quick one liners.... The only two that seemed to talk more were King Sphinx and Ticklesneezer.

After the five part "Green With Evil" saga, the season goes right back to filler episodes (not counting the clip show "Island of Illusion" 2-Parter, which we will get to tomorrow). These filler episodes are somewhat enjoyable if you are just looking to kill time, and.... wait a second....

Frankenstein was cool , actually one of the stronger one-shot monsters during the early seasons. He pwned the megazord & dragonzord individually. It was just silly how he got destroyed after walking straight into the power staff.

In Zyuranger, instead of getting destroyed, he ended up mutating. In MMPR, the mutated version was an entirely different monster used in Island of Illusion.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Season 1: Episodes 27 - 40

As the series got close to it's 40th episode, a lot of stuff happened. Tommy lost his powers, we got our first full team of evil rangers (not counting the evil Green Ranger from earlier), and we also saw Lokar arrive..... and get defeated in his second appearance.

The series was originally supposed to end after 40 episodes, but it became so popular that it continued. This meant that new footage had to be shot in Japan, and that footage has been called the Zyu2 footage by the fans. In the last 20 episodes of the season, we see yet another full team of evil rangers, and....
