The thing that has me the most from this haul is the Wonder Woman statue. I had the thing on pre-order for the longest time, but I backed out when I had to trim the fat off of my pending purchases.

Words can not describe how much I hate you when you do these hauls :lol

Has anyone who orders stuff from Japan, had anything actually go through customs since the shutdown? Trying to figure out if they're really closed, or my package is just being held there for no good reason. If it is just being held, there's literally no way to contact them since the number doesn't work. =/

You'd think since it is mail, and the USPS is still going, they'd still push stuff through...

I had something shipped EMS and it went through fine. Though I've got some ebay stuff shipped from China and those haven't shown up yet. They all say "Origin Post is preparing shipment" for several days now.

Oh I also got this, but the damn thing is way too big, so until I can get the proper set up, this gallery will have to do for now...

With the exception of one package, all my pending shipments (SAL all) are taking much longer to get through customs than usual. They must be catching up on the backlog, though, because over the last couple of days I've had four or five clear through, one practically right after another. So, while slow, things do seem to be moving forward.

Ive actually had 4 packages come through since it started. The Post Office has been an established separate entity from the actual government for a while now so the shutdown doesnt affect them in the same way.

Plus, I'm pretty sure it is illegal to shut down postal delivery.

I know it's a minor thing but it's just a personal preference for Japanese packaging. To me it was worth it.
The full season set is pretty decent, and far more affordable than the old full season sets. Those things can sell for hundreds on ebay.
It's a fantastic statue. My wife casually collects DC Women statues and I bought this one as a surprise for her. It's for the both of us really but she loved it too.

Oh man I know. That's the one that sold me on them. The Wonder Woman is great as is the Supergirl, but the Black Canary is just perfect.

Picked up the Gosei Great retrofire. The phoenix zord shoulder piece is a little loose, but the figure all around is great.

Good choice. I think it's a great looking figure. Gosei great already had an awesome design and I love they made it look a little more sleek.

Indeed. I plan on making an exception for Rhinox as well. Beast Wars/Machines was where it was at for me.

My favorites as well. Though Beast Machines got a bit weird. Beast Wars was great. I have never been able to find a sub for Beast Wars 2/Neo though. And that makes me sad.

Realizing people grew up with Beast Wars makes me feel so damn old.

You don't need to grow up with Beast Wars to enjoy it over any other series~

Personally, though, the only Beast Machines character I want to see get a toy is Obsidian. Not a repaint, but an entire new mold. That'd be the day...

I was born in '89 after the intial run of G1 ended. But I watched it in syndication growing up for years before Beast Wars happened. So it's not as though it's my first experience and I'm nostalgiac because of that. It's because it's by far the greatest example of the franchise. It was magnificent. Beast machines may have taken things in a bold direction but I enjoyed it. If for nothing else than Megatron and the Vehicons I enjoyed it. But Beast Wars, much like Animated, will always be special to me even if I don't own many Transformers anymore.

Talk about someone who needs a toy. A new dragon Megatron mold that can turn into his Master of Cybertron Form :(
