Just caught the sub on Aesir. Gotta say, I dig it. Suit designs growing on me, i'm liking the fruit samurai theme.

With different Rider designs instead of just one rider that has different colors (WIZARD!), a bright environment, a new fun gimmick, i'm on board.

Cough......according to reliable sources, Baron Banana Arms is the most favourite rider for ladies :D

This show is real life Jet Set Radio, without skates. From Zawami City to Yggdrasill Corp, everything in this show already reminds me of that game.

Actually, Zawami City is like Futo all over again, complete with it's own radio station and DJ. I LOVE IT. It's fun, but not farting dinosaurs fun. Even the lock dealers remind me of W with the Gaia memories.

My only complaint is that the dancing needs to get better on this. I wouldn't get these guys on Japan's Got Talent.

Either way, they promised something unique for this season. So far, it's delivering.

I'm calling it now—the Inbess/Invess monsters are actually people who ate Lock Seeds in their fruit form.

Also, I showed the first episode to a friend. I'm not sure how far he got, but he said the series proved too much for him.

I was talking about that with my cousin, we said that it would explain why Gaim is leading an army of Inves at the start.

I like to think Team Gaim is in the opening scene as Invessies (Invessi?). This gives me the image of Invess armies dancing to Thriller. :p

KRX, I'm loving that sig. It's juicy.

I'm pretty excited for the next episode. Upon rewatching, the preview looks like something I've always wanted to see: a rider transforming simply because he can. Like in his house, or on his scooter thing. If I could change into an armoured superhero, I'd sure as shit try it out more than just to fight for sure.

I remember when we had this conversation before. If I could suddenly henshin, I'd be throwing myself off of buildings and shit just to see what I could do. It's funny that so many of these shows centred around transforming heroes isolate that stuff to fight scenes only.

That was my first thought when the DJ voice-over started. I kind of would like that to continue, though I imagine it could get old.

I was quite pleased with the episode, though I'm a little disappointed at how bland his motorcycle appears to be when compared with the armor. I, like others, enjoyed that we're starting the Rider journey at the same time as Kota. I look forward to the next episode and seeing how the show develops.

(Also, Rider War! Onore Baron! :D)

Edit: I have no doubt I will enter bankruptcy trying to collect all the toys for this show.

So Much Goodness!

Kouta was excellent, the Henshin was Excellent! It's like someone took Final Fantasy, Monster Hunters, Digimon, and Kamen Rider and threw them all together with a Fruit Cocktail! I love it. I was worried at first.. It was like Jet Set Radio: Kamen Rider. And I was like.. I don't know.. But then Awesome Happened o_o

This show surprised me with how good it is. I thought the show may be too lighthearted and silly to be decent, but everything is put together well. Kouta is a guy you'd like to root for, Mai is cute either as a blond cosplayer or as a normal streetdancing girl. The DJ is a bit over the top and annoying, but as long he doesn't show up constantly it should be ok. I like the different riders and the rivalry between them. Reminds me a lot of Ryuki in that regard. Although the first episode isn't as great as Wizard, I am sure over time it will be a better show than Wizard.

Finally managed to watch it yesterday... Stupid gooddrama stream being incredibly buggy...

I liked it because it was a fun episode.

But dang did it just leave me with so many questions.

Well it's the first episode. Of course it's going to leave questions.

It's good that it's leaving us with questions. It keeps us hooked for more. Who wants to know everything up front? :p

I don't wanna know everything up front, but as I'm watching this weekly, I hope it isn't slow and fillery.
