Actually taking a look at the Japanese release and the American release, it's the exact box. The only difference is there is no Japanese text under Gouraiger Set and the Ninja Storm logo. The Japanese is intact on the back.

There actually is Japanese text under the Gouraiger words, it's just barely visible under the sticker they slapped on the Japanese boxes' fronts to make it 'Americanized'.

Maybe they decided against putting Thunder Rangers of the box because they figures most people were buying the figures more for the Japanese sentai counterparts, but had to include the 'Power Rangers Ninja Storm' label in order to be allowed to sell in the U.S.

Hey, I thought the Gouraiger set came with a "Ninjastorm" slipcover. At least for the U.S. release.

The US release has a sticker covering up the the Gouraiger logos and names. But that's all I'm aware of.

I picked this up at the card shop because the more i think about it, maybe Misaki's my favorite character in Vanguard.

lol, I did see them, as well as the Magiranger and Gekiranger sets which I considered getting except these were all from Nakano and the others weren't. Or at least the cheaper sets weren't. Haha.

I kind of passed on them initially for fear of getting sucked into needing EVERY key. Unfortunately I never got a lot of the basic packs I wanted either.

I wanted Gai for completion, I only need Ryuga and Verde now (plus Imperer when he's released, but I have him on preorder through NY so it will be easy). Someone had a Ryuga for sale for a long time somewhere else, and they lowered it from like, $80 or so to $60, and when it hit $60, I finally had money... and someone else grabbed it of course.

I like Scissors because none of his armor gets in the way of articulation, and the orange is nice.

Testament Gundam is ridiculously amazing. It's really sad that I can get him to stand with both the claw and backpack, and I can't even get the MK42 to stand in any kind of action pose. Really disappointed with the MK42.

Oh, and if you don't have Assault Kingdom and are a Gundam fan, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?? (I still have 3x Nu Gundam and a Re-GZ... plus 2x Candy Kiwi, Candy Melon Energy and Candy Faiz :D)

Just ordered the Kamen Rider Ryuki and Grape Lock Seed set on Amazon. I wanted to get the Durian Lock Seed, but that's more than doubled in price since I last looked at it and it is far more than I am willing to spend for it now.

Looking forward to getting these though. Gaim has been an amazing season, and it felt fitting to get a lock representing Ryuki, my favorite season of the show.

Should be here like..in a month.

S.H.Figuarts Hurricane Yellow & Blue set just arrived yesterday!

Well luckily for me, I don't feel the need to get every key since there are so many hard to find and expensive ones, not to mention most of them are pre-zyu which I can't say I care much for since I grew up watching MMPR and onwards. Haha

Wow, shikishima, that looks pretty cool! I think they look excellent together, maybe the best looking Figuarts team as a whole, I think.

Is it me, or does Hurricane Blue's color seem a tad darker than it should be?

It's actually ALL about lighting. In person and in normal light, it's too dark. Make it bright enough, and it becomes better. I compared it to actual on screen footage, and the metallic nature of the suit caused it to be highly varying in terms of color based on lighting.

That's awesome! I am a little surprised at the Shurikenger on the back but then I realized that it comes from a different toy line. :D But still strongly hope Bandai will release it this year. :rock:

Yeah, Contrast on that picture is kinda stronger than real one. The real figure has more brighter color :)

It is. I mentioned this in the Figuarts thread, too. When in extremely bright light she looks sort of the right colour, but Hurricane Blue is supposed to be very light blue. The Figuart is definitely much lighter then previous blues, but its not quite light enough.

Acquired my first Gokaiger S.H. Figuart yesterday.

Awesome sauce Shima! Man, you guys are making me jealous. Went and got Dukemon instead of the Gouraigers as planned, and now he has a broken right shoulder peg. I've yet to contact IA to see if they'll do anything to help. Otherwise, I'm SOL.......shoulda got those Gouriagers. Goes to show, never bet against a ninja....

Lighting really hurt my MMPR Pink Ranger. It showed me how off a lot of her joints were in color from each other. >_<
