Hase's death, Yuyya's reveal to him, project ark, the destruction of Zawame city, all sorts of things that might happen off screen.

I think Kouta's turncoat attitude towards being a Rider fits with the whole youth vs. adults dealio. He's naive, he doesn't know what he wants.

I was looking through Facebook, and someone made a very interesting comment on Kamen Rider Club's post about Gaim 22. There's no filler.

The thing I didn't like about this episode (minor, but still...) is that Gaim used Jinba Lemon against Zangetsu. He already established that Cherry is stronger, and he just got the Peach lock seed. Also, how many times have we seen Pine Arms? Like, 2 maybe 3 times? It's practically the most underused Arms in the show.

Nope. He wanted to fight more after that.

The ONLY time Kouta wanted to give up being a rider was after Zangetsu beat him up.

Again, WHERE are you guys seeing him give up? It's not even like he gave up this episode or anything.

Or do you guys think anytime he's not actually in the midst of fighting, he's given up? I'm actually rewatching all of Gaim up until now, and he's never given up since the one time it was important for him to give up.

I'm pretty sure that Toei didn't want to debut two new Jinba suits in one episode.

But the bit about cherry still stands. Why he would use Lemon again, when Cherry gives him everything Lemon has but more, I do not understand.

Because the action in this show is dull and boring?

Same reason he always starts out as Orange Arms when fighting the Energy Riders; it's his base form-ish.

Yes, but he went straight from Orange to Cherry in the forest, didn't he? Lemon didn't get used until the Zangetsu fight.

But he doesn't always.

And last time he went into Kinba Cherry, it was straight to Cherry. No Lemon.

There's literally no in-show reason for him to not use Cherry. Even from a toy-perspective, we've seen so much of Lemon, but Cherry is new and shows what Jinba does.

Oh, and probably more discussion for next week, but translating Kachidoki to Triumphant is hella cool. TRIUMPHANT ARMS. Triumphant needs to be used more in this language I think.

I don't know, maybe the trade-off for Cherry's speed is a loss of power? Rider shows rarely do a good job of clearly defining what a form's full abilities are.

Hmm, good enough point about Cherry in Jungle Zone Act 2. I guess I should have mentioned that whole base form thing being in better relation to the big fight at the end.

I never got a chance to see the Raid on the big screen, Dredd I did. Seeing those slowmo sequences in 3D on giant ass screen was just glorious.

As I had to do my usual wait of a week before I can get around to watching an episode, I had a feeling a really big bomb was going to drop given the episode name. Holy crap. Yggdrasil's plan is to mass produce the Driver to ensure the survival of 1 billion people. That much I expected once the conversation went in the discussion of Project Ark. However, I didn't expect culling the population to come up. It makes sense because they don't want a shit ton on Inves running around in their "ark", but for Takatora to basically say "Yeah, we can deal with the population without drawing attention." was a narrative step taken I didn't expect. On the none bombshell plot points dropped, I did like the Kouta took the intiative to steal the Peach Lockseed from Minato. Digging the Jimba Cherry seems to be a imbue some form of super speed helping it stand out from Jimba Lemon(I'm guessing that one is power?) by being more than a raiment change(ohohoho see what I did there :lol?). I was amused by Ryouma's reactions as Mitchy tried to logic his way out of waiting by the crack. And I really liked that when Takatora finally showed Kouta the truth about Yuuya, he didn't do a huge melodramtic "NO!". Anyway, can't wait to see Kachidoki's debut in 23!
