Anyone believe that we’ll ever get a US release of Toku Spider-Man? I think once “Into The Spiderverse 2” comes out (since he’s supposedly gonna be in it), and enough people see the movie there’ll probably be a demand for one.

I know current circumstances make this dicey, but will we ever get another Space Squad Movie!? The setup from the previous entries leaves a few unresolved plot points.

non-english speaking sources, i guess. thinking on it i think i just mean non-sentai or rider toku (barring garo, i know about garo), basically anything that isnt in the mainstream or american

An Indonesian Toku film, Satria Heroes: Revenge of Darkness is now on Netflix (a fact that I visually confirmed)!

I admit that I'm not familiar with the Satria Garuda series this is based off of. Nor do I know why Netflix has only a solitary sequel to a franchise!

For those of you in the US and Canada, Sentai Filmworks is doing a flash sale, which has most of their GARO stuff for really cheap.

Speaking of that, anyone have any idea where I can find a copy of "GARO TV Collection 1"? Both eBay and Amazon are turning up nil, and having a copy of 2 but not 1 will forever bug me.

Is there any place to buy Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills DVD? I know it is already an obscure series but it is frustrating that I can't find it anywhere. It's not available on eBay and Amazon, no legal streaming sites, and not even available on torrent or Internet Archive.

The B-Fighter Finale in Ep. 52 and 53 served as a Crossover with Blue Swat, Janperson, and GunGibson. The end involved the lot of them assembled on a stage and interacting with kids. The stage appears to show a gear-like insignia which appears more consistent with Baranoia from Ohranger! Is there any great reason for using that other than prop reuse and because it fits the technological nature of Metal Heroes?

Recently learned of the '70s series "Magic Teacher"... and the unfortunate loss of its star at the hands of another Tokusatsu character actor!

And that actually leads well into a question I have....

It seems like most Tokusatsu shows are most inspired my Kamen Rider or Ultraman. But which ones are the most like Sentai? How many shows have color-coded teams of heroes and a mech? I see a lot of Chinese shows that are similar in format, like the Battle Strike Team series, but what else? (btw where can I find subs for that? Anybody know?)

I watched the first Battle Strike Team show a while back with the crummy official subs on Youtube, but as far as I could tell no fansubber had ever bothered with the others. It really makes you wonder how much non-Japanese tokusatsu us English speaking fans only know from raws/pictures or are just completely unaware of.
