Maybe Ghost is sort of monk-ish? It matches the orange color scheme, and the merchandise mentioning loud bells.

Too bad Kiva's wasn't thrilling. I wish it came on this new series again.

Ghost is yokai?

Ninninger is using Yokai for the villains, aren't they? Would they use the same similar concept when Ninninger's going to air alongside the first half?

That's what makes me think that Oni will be the enemy and yokai would aid ghost.

Yokai can be both good or bad, so he might have some friendly Yokai or maybe a a tamed Oni as his allies, but fight against both sorts of demons nonetheless. (A good show on that topic is the Jigoku Sensei Nube Live Action- cast features Gaim, GokaiGreen and Meteor, btw.)

Considering how Bandai makes yokai watch merch if they do involve yokais I would not be surprised if they collabo with yokai watch for that yokai hype.

Now if it can only look as badass as Kiva with that color scheme, has the potential of being one of the best looking riders ever.

What if the rider was brought back as a revenant. He'll be taking on a new identity in order to hide his old life.

A Kamen rider like the crow sounds to much Karas (although it would be cool to see)... just a though what if this turns out to be multi-rider with each rider having the motif base on a different guardian spirit/ghost from Japanese folklore?

Edit: Actually if they used some concepts from Karas it could be very interesting, case in point: What if when our hero transforms his spirit separates from his body and it dons the rider suit leaving the physical body in a coma like state.

I didn't mean Karas. I meant The Crow as in "Brandon Lee".

I know it's just that Karas is kind of Toku inspired and the Karas armor is based on a crow so i though it would make for a good example for a Kamen rider suit based on a crow motif.

Bells, Icons, Ghosts, man this new one sounds better and better I just hope he's designed well. The series can be great but if the Rider isn't designed well it becomes hard to watch for a lot of people.

I just want to see them do a Yo-kai Watch collabo for the heck of it because... well, Bandai. :lolol

A new rumor has hit the 'Net suggesting Sho Aikawa might be the head writer for this new series.

His resume includes Boukenger, Gekiranger, Go-Onger and the first half of Kamen Rider Decade.

He's also did most of Blade's second half after the original writer left. I'd be down for that, assuming he doesn't leave partway through the show again.

Seems like hes got a good resume there and wrote the better half of Decade IMO

A fan posted it on henshin fever's page, thought it was worthy to share since we usually glimpse new riders and forms through leaked shots like these, but yea like you said it looks like kabuto, my guess is that it was a recoloring and considering the location, ep 15 of Decade? To where they were underground and kabuto steps in to save his sister. But the helmet design kinda throws me off

I like the idea of a purple main rider, but yes, it does look vaguely Kabuto-esque to me.

Could be a meteor, could be someone else. But the head is bothering me. It looks too big for that body. Not to mention that the body rests oddly on the ground, and there's very little shadow. Idunno. All I know is that picture is bothering me.

I see what you mean cause of the head shape and visor, but in my comparisons the rio trooper is more simplified as this seems to be more similar to a kabuto body.

I never replied to what you wrote in the first place and it doesn't matter anyway what exactly it is. We are already pretty sure that this thing is probably not the new Kamen Rider but something from an older series and that's pretty much all we need to know about this picture.
