What would you have a second one be based on?

It'd be cool if Houdini got a Ghost Gadget and it was a rabbit. I don't know what the gadget part would be or how it could combine.

If we're being honest, I think the bike's that gadget for the form.

I feel I should point out that the Omega Crash sound can't have been an accidental tripping of anything else.

Rifle Mode is activated by attaching the Bat Clock onto the front of Gun Mode.

Hammer Mode is activated by attaching the Spider Lantern to Naginata Mode.

All indications seem to suggest that this is entirely intentional functionality.

Obviously. Once again: hissing and dialing sounds come out of the Saber for the finisher.

I do wonder about future gadgets, though. On the "crossguard" section of the Saber, there are some arrows and slots on the sides similar to where things like the Condor Phone attach. I can't find any activation buttons nearby that would unlock news sounds, and they also don't seem to have any involvement in the current combos that I've noticed. But they have to be there for a reason, right? Why else would there be both arrows and indications slots there? The question is: what exactly will use them and how?

It's weird that there are apparently no second quarter gadgets, really. The Sunglasslasher doesn't seem to be able to use any, and Necrom doesn't even seem to have any weapons at all. Considering how many new forms we're getting, just having the Sunglasslasher be everything new weapon-wise is just weird. Especially since they seemed to be making a point of differentiating all of the forms by their weapons, to just give Boost and Necrom so little is perplexing...a couple of gadgets would have made a large difference.

Hopefully there's something interesting in the third quarter. If they go the Gaim route and have a final weapon that can interact with the first one, that would be pretty neat.

If they have Gaim interact with this series at all, they could bring back Sid, Yoko, and Hase. Yesss.....

Yeah. That's what I'm thinking. Some kind of either Super or Ultimate form attachment for the Saber.

What if Ghost goes full Kabuto? I can see it now:

I honestly think they gave up on Ghost Gadgets early on in toy development. The only sounds I've found in the saber are only for the four we've seen. Also on the topic of the side gadget rails on the Gan Gan Saber, I don't think any of the Ghost-centric gadgets can even fit on there. The Condor doesn't, there's too much junk in the Bat's trunk for it to fit, and we've yet to see Spider. I really don't think we'll see many more, if any, Ghost Gadgets after the Spider Lantern.

The thing is the Bat Clock has its own sounds. It's very possible that future attachments/gadgets could provide their own entirely new sounds too. Not to mention, the other gadgets WOULD fit on those side rails if not for additional kibbley bits getting in the way. Even though I don't think anything fits on yet, they're still unmistakably extra gadget ports which is intriguing.

Yeah. I mean, there's no Necrom sound in the Driver either, but Necrom still has an Eyecon, it just has its own electronics and sounds.

But I agree, if we do see more Gadgets, it definitely won't be a lot. The number of toys is always lower the longer the series goes on, for one, but still, toys with their own sounds and stuff are clearly the exception rather than the rule...

When the Robin Eyecon came out I got my payment request the night after it went on backorder. Not holding my breath, but I'm hoping the request for my stuff gets sent out tonight.

HLJ is saying it sent me a payment request for both the Hand and Tut, but I haven't received the email yet...odd, but hopefully it's just taking its time to show up.

You know what? I actually think the Cobra Mobile might fit on the cross guard of the GanGun Saber... I'll have to try that once I get mine.

Egh. Finally paid for my Hand and Tut, checking out shipping for my Private Warehouse stuff, and...It's just as I feared. On account of the Hand's box being obscenely long (i'm assuming it's the length, since it's lighter than the Saber) it's adding well over 1000 yen to the shipping cost. Oh, and it means it can only be shipped out by EMS. So that's pretty great. Pretty...great.

The shipping is going to cost me like 300 yen less than the Driver did. That's...nice.

Really starting to wish the Hand could break down into some component parts right about now...

Thankfully the SunglasSlasher (gotta love them removable blades) and the Megauruoda look like they should be reasonably sized...don't need any more boxes with extreme dimensions...

I'm new to the boards, but I just got my first Kamen Rider figure, and wanted to show that the Ghost figures seem to be purposely designed to achieve the hood-less look by detetching the back of the jacket, while all the other pieces can directly attach to the base figure.

As long as you don't show the back, you can't tell anything is missing.

I told myself I wouldn't buy into the GC line but seeing them in the Kamen Rider Diner made me splurge a but, bought both Ghost and spectre with tut's eyecon and snake phone thing.

Also just checked gan gun hand is on backorder urgh I preordered that the moment it went up as well with, was hoping I could get it to arrive by the time I got back from Japan

They both look pretty sweet. Though I gotta say, what with Beethoven being such a neutral color, his face is looking way more rainbow than gray. Guess it's cool though. Also, the packaging for the Eyecons continues to be totally sweet.

The deadline for the oldest item in my Private Warehouse on HLJ is coming up in less than a week, so I hope this thing continues the trend of not being backordered so I can ship it out along with everything else. I got Tut, so...probably. I should be getting all my stuff in a couple of weeks at most. Can't wait to have Newton not be all alone anymore...

So this set comes out this week, and the Billy stuff comes out next week, right?

HLJ is saying GC05 is also out in November as opposed to December like I thought so I'm guessing that's coming out the week after next. Which, I still don't get why they didn't just release it last week with all the other Specter stuff? But whatevs.

Wall of text incoming, but can I just say that I think they really dropped the ball on the belt when it comes to Specter? First, the orange belt and grip on the lever. Doesn’t really affect the toy in any way but it looks ass. Specter’s costume is black and blue, the orange parts look really random. Why couldn’t these be blue? You could literally release a second belt which is the same one as Ghost’s but with blue elements and call it Specter Driver. And to don’t be an ass to customers who already have the belt, release a Specter Kit with the blue parts which they can swap on their old Driver.

Next: The sounds. Some Eyecons just play Specter’s jingle instead of Ghost’s, permanently. Which makes no sense considering they steal Eyecons at this point in the show and if Specter uses Edison’s Eyecon it will play his jingle and not Ghost’s, but the toy won’t be able to do that.

Would a switch somewhere on the toy which permanently sets the jingle for every Eyecon to either Ghost or Specter really be that hard to do? I think not. And it’s not like that won’t give away something to early or something like that, Specter’s silhouette was shown before the show even began so you can just make a page in the instruction booklet or the a picture on the box telling kids there is a "mystery switch" which will come in handy once a new character appears on the show. Yes, there might be more Riders later in the show and giving all of them away might suck, but hackers are through this thing anyways, and it only has these two jingles, right? Shouldn’t be a problem then.

I mean yeah, one belt for several characters is hardly anything new in Kamen Rider, Ryuki Riders all had the same belts, so did Gaim, Drive had 2 Mach Drivers and so on and so forth. But the thing is: The belt on the Ryuki Riders was neutral in color and it was personalized through the card deck which made the buckle. Gaim had the Lockseeds which were colored appropriately and had images of the weapons and stuff, and they had the faceplates. The Energy Rider’s are another story, but I don’t really mind them since they all have the same weapon and stuff. And I don’t think the designs crash that hard anyways. Same with the Mach Driver.

But the orange parts on Specter look completely out of place. Yes, his weapon has orange parts too, but that is the ugliest weapon I’ve seen in a long time anyways so I don’t even want to think about seeing that thing. But the Driver is a part of Specters costume, and the toy lacks the needed function of switching jingles when it comes to the Eyecons.

I can forgive the orange on Specter's base form for the simple fact that it's a decent contrast with his blue. I don't mind it. It definitely becomes too much color with his other forms though, and the Hand only worsens things in that respect. Why it couldn't just be black is beyond me.

I think it would have been cool to have a faceplate-like system to handle the standby jingles, but like, with the handles, somehow? Just give Specter a silver one or something and have it come with the Hand. The orange belt doesn't bother me much at all, though, since it's usually hidden by the hoodies.

But yeah, I'll agree that the Driver situation at least sound-wise is unfortunate at best.

I definitely agree with the whole spectre jingle being tied to certain eyecons. Why couldn't they do it like the Drive Driver where the types changed the jingle, and have it so if you put Ore soul it gives you ghosts jingle for the soul changes and if you put in spectres it gives you his jingle.

The orange handle doesn't really bother me, as blue still complements orange. Maybe if he was color that actually clashes with I would have cared.

Pretty much how I feel. Although being someone who doesn't absolutely hate Specter's weapon, I think it nicely ties the color into the Rider's palette by having both orange and blue.

The only form where the Hand really, really bothers me is Nobunaga. Purple is a difficult color to use well in a color scheme, and with the gold, blue, and black with a tiny splash of orange and yellow it's already sort of pushing it. Making him lug around a giant blue and orange stick (let alone one whose blue doesn't even match the same shade as his suit...seriously, what the hell is up with specter, his weapon and his bike all being different shades of blue. makes no sense whatsoever)...honestly, it just looks like shit. I freaking love Nobunaga Damashii, but uggghhhh that weapon.

Ghost Nobunaga would probably look sick though, so hopefully we get to see that someday...

Think HLJ messed up on getting their supplies of Beethoven and Nobunaga. It's at an order stop right now with them saying the item will come in on or about the 30th. Don't think they got the memo that they are to be released on the 14th.

Not necessarily. Every time they stop an order they say it's expected to come out at the end of the month. It doesn't really mean anything.
