Fury Diamond has stated that based on his sources, he knows the "story bible" has changed many times since production started, and obviously Bandai and Saban are struggling to decide what, and how, to incorporate a lot of the various things from Gokaiger in to the second season of Megaforce.

My wish list?

1) Gokaiger suits, somehow, some way
2) Ranger keys
3) Basco

That still bothers me. Remember the end of Season 3, right before it became Zeo, and Vile sent that Gooey-Whatever monster down to defeat the Rangers? It sucked up their Ninja Powers.. and grew Kakuranger heads. Like no one, even kids, would notice.

It makes no sense! I mean alot about that made no sense. Stopping the world spinning doesn't turn back time, it turns off gravity and sends us all into space. Okay almost nothing about the Ninja season made ay kind of sense. Especially when they turned into kids.

I see this season playing out alot like season one of MMPR. Which may or may not be a bad thing. I'm already liking the interest alot of the actors are taking in updating fans, and Gosei's Zordon voice. Brajira's voice is iffy to me, but better than Ninjor. Strangling a cat and setting it to thrash metal would be better than Ninjor. We just have to wait and see how they handle Gokaiger. Personally, I'm hoping they forget and do two seasons of Goseiger. But thats me.

I get your argument, but this statement doesn't make any sense. Gokaiger isn't part of Power Rangers, so it doesn't pay homage to 20 years of Power Rangers either way.

That and they can still pay homage and ignore alot of Gokaiger. Like the whole Pirates and Ninjas attack. Once they got him that was all they friggin' used.

I'd settle for people getting the idea of keys out of their heads. Not Going To Happen. The Mega's are going to use cards. Otherwise we'd have seen something about them in toy form by now, instead of the cards we are getting. It's just not happening and doesn't need to happen to go forward with the 20th stuff.

No, don't be dumb. Sentai IS Sentai. Power Rangers IS Power Rangers.
Power Rangers RPM is NOT Engine Sentai Go-Onger. Using footage doesn't make them the same thing.

right, but to adapt a series for an anniversary year, i think gokaiger is a strong part of that. i wont necessarily say i am glad gosei and gokai were merged until the full series is shown.

Also Sentai, i dont think that promo shot showing key things on the wall is helping your cause for people to give up hope of keys.

You're arguement is because they're wall decorations they're being used? They won't be. Like I said already, and I wish I could find the news post, we have confirmation already that they won't be using keys. Or the Gokaiger suits.

And as for your other arguement. They aren't sipping a series. They are using elements from Gokaiger, so they aren't skipping it completely. Just certain elements. Like the suits, the keys.

I agree with Matrix. I'm glad they merged these two together. I'm getting alot of elements of Goseiger, and the good parts of Gokaiger.

I think more people need to realise that if Saban had the time and money (which he probably does...I'd also factor in the existence of toys but BOA just make their own these days) we would probably get a completely original Power Rangers series. However, it's much cheaper and easier for Saban to use the existing footage in whatever way he and his team desire, thus the formula of importing sticks. That and a pre-installed fan base of people that followed the sentai but couldn't afford the merch. Look how quick people snapped up Megaforce stuff, I can guarantee not a lot of it would be by kids.

It's basically a mixture of being cheap, lazy and (sometimes) trying to tell an original story, yet still fit the existing footage. Im by no means saying this is bad, its obviusly good buisness, but Saban could obviously do so much more. It's a formula started by the 1956 Godzilla film for marvelous' sake.

TL/DR: If you want Gosieger or Gokaiger you have the knowledge and the means to acquire it and watch it.
