I've noticed that searching on the site is strangely inconsistent. Some time after I read people here found preorders there, I went to the site and did a search on LVUR. Only the stuff they already had listed appeared.

Two minutes later, I re-ran the search, and suddenly, there they were. I can only imagine that I'd initially seen cached search results, but I kinda didn't think searching worked that way.

Also, how does Toyhappy already have LVUR 03 and 04 already? Review copies?

Can I love and hate the Level 3 Gamers and forms at the same time? Because I pretty much love and hate them at the same time.

I think DoReMeFa Beat bugs me most. Jet Combat and Gekitotsu Robots dovetail nicely with the themes for Snipe and Ex-Aid, but the DJ weapon is just... totally counter to Brave's overall theme. It's cute, clever, and counter to the knight/RPG/stoic vibe of this particular Rider.

Also, I partially weep over some of the color stories. As garish as some of the Level 2 designs are, it's clear a lot of time and thought went into them. That said, I also want to see how they look with the Level 3 upgrades swapped around, since they look largely compatible with one another.

Naturally, I want to see Shakariki Sports on Ex-Aid, like, right now.

I don't like that Brave has DoReMeFa Beat either, but mainly because I don't like rhythm games. I get the connection though. The Mario RPGs all have timed based mechanics and there's other RPGs with similar mechanics. Rhythm games are nothing but timing. While I don't like it, I get the connection.

Personally, I'd give the RPG rider either a monster capture game that the show doesn't seem to have (Or is that what Drago Knight Hunter Z is suppose to be?) or give him the mecha game since mecha RPGs are common to.

But yeah, that thought cross my mind, but from what I understand Theatrhythm is just a rhythm game and not a RPG.

This much better than LVUR version because SO-DO designs looks more accurate to Rider designs in the show. The Level 3 in LVUR version looks more bulky and has some of missing paints.

I am planning to buy all Ex-Aid Riders in SO-DO version.

I finally got my Ex-Aid stuff in from HLJ and the Driver restock did, in fact, come with the Eyecon! Can't say I expected that.

Anyone else encounter a Gashat saying "Gashoon" when you first insert it on occasion? It's been happening with my Bakusou Bike more than any of the others, and it's really weird. It mostly happens when I put it in really fast, and then it'll say the "Gashatto!" line when you pull the lever then will skip the Level 2 jingle and go straight to the "Gachan" lines when you close and open again. It's really weird.

Wait, so. Only the standalone Driver is eligible for the Proto MAX promotion? Not the Slot Holder combo?

Thats... annoying. Where is the cheapest place I can still get the Slot Holder alone then? I'm thinking about collecting just the first 10 Gashat, plus PMAX.

Alright, screw it. I double checked and the Gashat Case has 11 slots, which is perfect. Guess I'm collecting the basic Gashats now. Hopefully the November restock of the Gamer Driver qualifies for the PMAX promotion. Tightly crossing my fingers.

Oh, good. I don't actually like the sounds very much. They're...actually kinda disappointing for what I expected from a music based Gashat. II had to cancel my preorder for reasons and now I don't feel that bad about it.

Certain circumstances have forced me to reconsider my investment in the line, so I cancelled a couple of preorders and other things. Think that at least for a bit now I'm only gonna focus on the stuff I really want. Hopefully things are better next month.

When did this go up? Is it a new listing or am I behind the curb? Dragon Hunter is out in December too right? Is that somewhere on HLJ too? I'm finding the side harder and harder the navigate recently. Not everything shows up under the search categories that it should.

That was actually supposed to go up on the first, along with the other stuff. No idea why, that's just what the catalog said. Other stores did put it up then, but HLJ apparently took until now...? Good chance it's been up for a while and I never knew.

The Hunter Gashat (along with Mighty Brothers) won't be up until December 1st. The Bugle Driver items and the Gear Dual should go up on December 28, I think...

Quick question. How do you make Gashat activate the weapon finisher sound? Or does that effect actually come from the Gashacon weapons themselves? I can't seem to figure it out.

I don't know. All I have is two Gashats and the Slot holder :lol

Figured it out! I also found the sound which (I think) the Bugvisor utilizes too. You press both buttons in and hit the trigger like you would when activating the Slot Holder attack, but instead of pressing the trigger again you release one of the two buttons. Front button for the weapon sound, back button for the Bugvisor(?) sound.

Guess it's a bit late now but I did make a list of all the sounds a while back. Figure it may be worth reposting anyway:

Yeah. Pretty disappointed with the execution of these support (backseat? :p) Gamers from what I've seen so far. They didn't even try to integrate the head of the little robot into anything; it just hangs off the back. The thing already parts-forms, so why not go even further with that to make the complete form look more cohesive?

Doesn't necessarily mean you didn't get it. Stuff has shown up as Discontinued in my order list before they sent me a payment request. Was the case with Taddle Quest, for instance. It happens. I think that's just HLJ taking stock and saying they're not taking any new orders. But if you preordered it you should still get it.
